I received this e-book in exchange for a completely honest and unbiased review. It is truly a fascinating read. In the beginning of the book the author gives a brief autobiography. I'm really glad he did because his life itself has been quite unique and fascinating. His whole family has a history of living in the ways of true herbalists. It is with this history that spurred him on to his first apprenticeship and then his career.
Neurodegneration is a part of life. For some it becomes more drastic and for others it happens quite slowly. This author, through his years of being a herbalist and researcher, has discovered a great recipe of herbs that can help enhance your neurons and thus the your cognitive functions. Think of it this way, you have to give your brain the fuel it needs or it cannot function to its full potential. As with all holistic body improvement programs, diet and exercise are always very important. I myself make all my own food and use a lot of essential oils and herbs. I also, use small games to give my brain exercise daily. I have noticed improvement in my cognitive functions with this. I learned some fascinating things about the brain that I never learned in nursing school. One thing for example, researches discovered that cortisol, a hormone produced when stressed, actually can degenerate the brain thus aging it. You might recognize this as "brain fog". You need to read this book for yourself to learn more, lol.
I truly believe everyone should read this book to gain knowledge and understand more about how to stay brain young and thus be happier and more productive in life longer.

The author did a good job of taking something I would have otherwise been completely disinterested in and made it interesting, easy to follow, and informative. I personally would have left off the part about making legal drugs for recerational use. I think people would be more impressed with his information than with his past successes. He speaks with enough knowledge and common sense that the Herbal Ecstacy only took away from his credibility.

Would I recommend it to a friend?
Yeah, I think I would. I would recommend you go in with an open mind and know that not every thing he out lines will work for everyone, but really, how often does that happen, anyway?!?

A very interesting and quick read. An excerpt from the book I particularly enjoyed:

"Your brain is both elastic and plastic. Elasticity refers to the ability of something to return to its original shape after being stretched. For example, your muscles easily snap back to their starting position during exercise. The elastic properties of our brains give us a flexible approach to thinking.Plastic means something which can be molded. Just like clay, you can mold your brain into new, more powerful shapes by training and conditioning it. The plastic properties of our brains give us a programmable approach to our thinking."

I work in a profession where learning is never ending and I totally understand what the author is referring to here. Overall I found the book fascinating and would recommend it to anyone seeking to understand our brains better and wishing to expand your brains natural abilities. I received this ebook in echange for my honest review.

I wish I could give this book 6 stars but 5 is the limit. I learned SO many valuable lessons in this book that have literally been holding back my memory and increasing my intellect. This book is a life changer for me in every way right down to the foods I have been eating and If you take the time to read this book you will understand that every thing we do including exercise, food, positive thinking effect the aging process and how to slow it down. If it's not already this book "THE BRAIN CHANGES EVERYTHING" will be a best seller and I personally will be recommending to everyone I know. Many, many thanks to the author for helping me to learn how to not only increase my memory but to literally slow down the aging process. A MUST BUY FOR EVERYONE!!!!

The author, Shaahin Cheyene, is an herbalist and the creator of Excelerol 90 Day Maximum Strength #1 Brain Supplement, Supports and Maintains Memory, Concentration, and Focus., has written the short non-fiction book titled The Brain That Changes Everything, in which he explains the benefits of using natural herbals to increase your memory, concentration and Alertness. Of course taking a supplement alone can't help you as you must have an excellent diet and frequent exercise routine to give that extra boost that your brain desires.

You'll learn about how important nutrition is in your diet and how it will reduce your cortisol release and maintain your blood sugar. What is a cortisol? Well, it is a stress hormone and it can negatively impact your overall brain and body function.
Protein is another must have in your diet that you can consume from red meats, white meats, egg whites, dairy products, tuna and other lean fish, legumes and beans, nuts and seeds, Alga (Spirulina), vegetables, and Seitan and tofu.

Besides from your food intake and daily exercise, the author lists and describes natural herbals that can increase your overall brain function, such as Vitamin B12, DMAE, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Peppermint Oil (I never would have thought of this one.), L-Tyrosione, and many others.

The Brain That Changes Everything is a fast-read written in layman terms for anyone that is looking for an herbal guide to improving your brain.
