Not impressed.... June 29, 2010

I own the original The Pit and Crosspit and those are great for a workout. However, I was kind of dissappointed in the twenties. There are three 20 min workouts and the first workout is definitely the best. On this dvd, I find myself starring at the TV trying to figure out what the heck they are doing so I can follow. Therefore, it slows me down and knocks my concentration on the workout off. Much of it doesn't make sense and it feels like they overdid it on this one. Its like, damn what do I do next. Poor job explaining. I was thinking of getting the skills and drills, but after this one I wont buy it. I also just bought the bas rutten workout and it is a monster for a workout, more for cardio. However, I do recommend you buy the original The Pit and Crosspit, wears your muscles out and then throw you on the bag. The only good thing I could see about the twenties is that the workouts are only approximately 25 min and is good for when you are short on time.

Great anaerobic workout! December 30, 2009

I like to use these workouts after my weight training or on days when I can't make it to the gym. They're "only" twenty minutes, which is more than enough time to end up completely exhausted and wasted. I used to dread the workouts, but I've gotten to where I look forward to them now... Well worth the $15 to $20 you'll spend on it.

Great Martial Arts workout September 12, 2010

This is a perfect workout if you are training for black belt or just wanting to get into shape. I have seen my strength and stamina grow doing these workouts. You really only need a heavy bag, which you should have if you're serious about martial arts. I tried p90x for awhile. I saw result faster with the Pit workouts and they are cheaper! I suggest buying all of them and alternating them throughout the week. You won't be disappointed.
