This cover was about one third the price of others I was looking at. Since it is just a cover, I went with price. Unlike some of the reviews I read, it was simple to install with two people doing it. The window is now draft free, made a huge difference in the temperature of the room. I recommend this productThermwell AC9H Quilted Indoor Air Conditioner Cover Medium, Beige

This product is a two-piece foam and canvas coverings that was easy to put on with tape that was provided. So far, it keeps the drafts out for the most part, but not completely. However, if you have a sufficient heating system, than you should be comfortable for the winter.

This is exactly what I wanted and use it every winter--since it dropped below freezing last night in sunny California ==glad i have it-sorry it took so long to do these reviews!!

Just got this and was extremely disappointed. The "plastic" liner" is a very thin sheet of packing foam, not what I was expecting at all. You can actually see through it, it's so thin. It certainly won't insulate anything. while the cover may look nice, it too is very, very thin, and even combined with the cover won't serve to keep out the drafts and cold from my ac. Guess it's back to stuffing newspaper and using real plastic to keep the drafts out. If you have to kick the heat up to compensate, there's no savings with this.
Save your money.
