5.0 out of 5 stars My 3 year old loves it
This book has lasted for about a year now and my son still loves it. There are so many stickers that it takes forever to use them. My son started coloring the book as most of the stickers got used up - as one person mentioned, it is also a coloring book. He learned to match the stickers to the pictures throughout the book. He even watched the Thomas the Train TV show...

1.0 out of 5 stars Thomas' sticker Express
If you are wanting a true "sticker book", one where the child pulls the stickers off and finds the correct place in the book to stick them then this is NOT the book for you. It is not a good book. It is a book full of Thomas and Friends stickers that your child can stick all over the walls in your house, floor, clothing, etc. and a few pages of coloring and activities...

My son started coloring the book as most of the stickers got used up - as one person mentioned, it is also a coloring book. He learned to match the stickers to the pictures throughout the book. He even watched the Thomas the Train TV show to learn the names of a few ones he didn't know in this book. I think that this book is well worth the money - at least for any kid under the age of 4 who likes Thomas the Train.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for the little Thomas fans, January 1, 2008

My just turned 2 year old son old LOVES this sticker book. I bought it to take on an airplane trip as a distraction and it worked wonderfully. My son loves placing the stickers randomly throughout the book. As the other reviews mention, the stickers don't stick well. However, I found this to be a good thing in many ways, since they also won't stick to things you don't want them stuck to. Even when accidentally stuck together, they easily pull apart. They stick just well enough to stick to a page, but can also be removed easily and stuck somewhere else. After being moved a couple times, they no longer stick, but there are so many stickers in the book my son doesn't notice when we throw out the ones that don't stick any more. I'm not sure a 4-8 year old would be as pleased with this book, but for the little ones who like stickers and Thomas, I think it's well worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lots to Color and Plenty of Stickers..., October 11, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: THOMAS' STICKER EXPRESS (Thomas & Friends) (Super Stickerific) (Paperback)
My two-year old grandson, who is currently enamored with trains, received "Thomas' Sticker Express" for his second birthday. He liked the two stories which accompanied the pictures to be colored and was able to, with minimal help, complete the activities which integrated into the storylines. The pictures to color are not so elaborate that children who have more hand-eye coordination than a two-year old will have diffiulty coloring. Two-year olds, on the other hand, will likely not be frustrated because they don't know that conventional wisdom says to color inside the lines.

The 700 stickers, alone, are worth the purchase price of "Thomas' Sticker Express," particularly when stickers are used as incentives, to mark important events/accomplishments, or to indicate a task has been accomplished. Some stickers are appropriate for embellishing the coloring pictures, and some can be used to create a railroad on a separate piece of paper. The adhesive does not seem to be so strong that removing stickers that have been put where they don't belong would be difficult. I was able to easily remove a sticker that I tested on uncoated cardboard; a page in "Time Magazine," and on a painted wall. That does not mean the stickers don't stick; rather it means, to me, that the manufacturer put some thought into what children may do with the stickers.

I would gauge the age range on "Thomas' Sticker Express" to be in the 2 - 5 years of age. While the product description says it is appropriate for 4 - 8 years of age, it seems this product may be too elementary for those at the upper half of the recommended ages.

My 4 year old son LOVES this book and it's thick with colorable pages of thomas and friends along with tons of stickers. The only downside is that the stickers don't seem to be very tacky and fall off quite easy.

We are so pleased with this book I think I'm gonna buy another one to have on hand when this one runs out. My son loves to stick & re-stick these stickers all over the pages in the book & on blank printer paper then he colors around the stickers and makes "pictures". There are so many stickers it's crazy!!! We've been using this book for hours & still plenty of stickers left for more fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Packed with stickers and lots of pages for coloring, March 3, 2011
This review is from: THOMAS' STICKER EXPRESS (Thomas & Friends) (Super Stickerific) (Paperback)
I ignored some of the reviews because they were disappointed this wasn't a sticker book where all the stickers have assigned pages where you stick them because the description clearly said it had coloring pages and stickers. And that's exactly what I wanted! My son is too little to want to put his stickers in the sticker book, instead he prefers them on the back of his hand, on mommy, on his bed post...you name it! And that's another reason I like this set - these really are low-tack stickers. In other words, I have been easily able to take them off of anything he's stuck them on, including our hardwood floor and Mr. Potato Head. Since my son loses interest in the actual sticker pretty quickly, it doesn't matter to me that it only stays stuck to him for a short time. However, I gave it 4 stars as I do wish they were a little stickier/tackier...they're on the "fall off too soon" side.

I kept some of the stickers myself because I'm making a Thomas themed scrapbook of my son's pictures. That says something about the attractiveness of the stickers. You get stickers of engines, cars, equipment, tracks, scenery (trees etc), railroad signs, engine names, sayings, symbols, and more. I was blown away by how many stickers there were.

And of course the secondary use: tons of pages for coloring. I'd say this book is about a 1/2 inch thick.

Overall I'm pleased because it was exactly what I wanted and wanted and will give me so many uses (potty training reward stickers, yay!). See pics I've attached.

5.0 out of 5 stars entertained our 20-month old son on a long plane ride!, December 31, 2010

This review is from: THOMAS' STICKER EXPRESS (Thomas & Friends) (Super Stickerific) (Paperback)
This book is awesome! We bought it for our 20-month old son to occupy him on a 4 1/2 hour plane ride from california to north carolina. Once we brought it out for him, it entertained him for at least an hour! We bring it to church now to keep him occupied and he still loves it. There are SOOOO many stickers that it has lasted 3 months already and there are still more stickers. Also, they don't stick super well which means he can pull them off and stick them again, which is nice. The only negative thing I would say is that I wish it had more of the regular coloring pages for him to stick the stickers on, but since the ones he already stuck come off really easy, I can just throw them away and the page is clean again. I HIGHLY recommend this product if you're looking to entertain a little boy. I have to hide it around the house so he doesn't use it up during the week :)

4.0 out of 5 stars A great collection of semi-reusable stickers, March 13, 2010
This review is from: THOMAS' STICKER EXPRESS (Thomas & Friends) (Super Stickerific) (Paperback)
We picked this book up for reward stickers when our son was potty training. Turns out, these stickers won't stay on a kid's shirt for more than 5 minutes. But he's had a ball with this book and is still crazy about it 2 years later. I think every character that appears anywhere in the Thomas universe is in this book, and most appear more than once. There are head-on and side views, and my kid loves finding and matching these up. There's a section with tracks, buildings, trees, and signals that he spent about three solid weeks arranging and rearranging on another large sheet of paper, and then "drove" the engine stickers around the tracks. Maybe a quarter of the sticker pages are boring - Thomas, Percy and James over and over again, and railroad symbols - but Mavis, Toby, Gordon, Henry, Bertie and Edward also make lots of appearances throughout. Lots to discover, and a surprising amount of creative play to be had. (And I can't believe I'm writing a review of a sticker book!)
