For the most part, the information contained inside the book is informative. My major gripe about this book is the layout and design. There is far too much random clipart/stock photography contained inside the pages. These include pictures of models smiling, models doing homework, models sitting at desks...it's all very distracting and pointless. It really makes the book appear that it was written for a middle school course, not a college level course. For future editions, I would like to see a more concise book with less fluff and wordart.

This book has some interesting articles and points of view. Does make you think about different scenerios and historical events.

Well, I learned something new with this purchase. My son needed this for class and the bookstore ran out. Of course, the first place I look is Amazon and even with overnight shipping, it was cheaper than the bookstore. From now on, plan on purchasing books at Amazon!

The book was mailed to me unbelievably fast, and was in better condition than I expected. I saved big bucks and time by going with this seller.
