This storage shelf kit includes four chrome support posts, five 18" x 18" professional wire shelves that can be installed at 1" increments along the posts, and four casters, two of which are locking, to provide convenient mobility.

Shelving components are constructed with commercial grade steel and have a contemporary polished chrome finish.
Kit features four InterMetro support posts with black plastic sleeves for quick and simple shelf mounting.
Five 18" x 18" professional wire shelves can each be installed at your choice of 1" increments along the height of the posts.
Shelf unit includes four plastic casters for smooth mobility, or end caps for the posts if you prefer stationary storage shelves.
Two of the casters are lockable to hold storage shelves securely in place.

When I bought this shelf set, it was advertised as a pot rack. I keep all my pots on the shelves. I hang pans and colanders on two sides, from hooks made by InterMetro for that purpose. Metro Snap-on-Hooks (Pkg 4) - Large / ChromeIt was easy to assemble, and it gave me additional space in my cabinets that I sorely needed. It is very sturdy and stable, and is made from high quality materials. For several years, it was fully loaded with very heavy Le Creuset cookware, without a problem. After at least 5 years and a thousand-mile trip in a moving van, it still looks brand new, and so do the hooks. It is one of my favorite possessions. I just looked on the manufacturer's website. It looks like the 5-shelf unit is no longer made, although it is still for sale on Amazon. The kitchen storage tower on the website is 18" x 18" x 63" and has only 4 shelves. My unit is the one here: 5 18" square shelves, 47" tall. Also, the manufacturer's website states that the 18" x 18" individual shelf capacity is a maximum of 500 lbs, evenly distributed. If you add additional shelves to a "storage system" (tower, rack, whatever you want to call it), an individual tower should not hold more than 2,000 lbs. total. If your "storage system" has casters, the weight of the tower's shelves should not exceed 300 lbs. I don't use the casters on mine.

I am really pleased with this shelving unit. It fits my needs perfectly. I am using it to hold all the components for my bedroom flat screen tv. It fits my small space perfectly. The 18" square gives me room behind everything to organize all the wires and secure them with velcro ties. The shelving unit is very good quality. I am sure it could hold a lot heavier load than I have on it. I put it together myself in about 15 minutes including custom adjustments. The unit comes with a few extra 2 piece plastic clips in case any are lost or damaged. Great bonus. I would not hesitate to order another unit if I ever have the need. Organize It shipped the unit via Fedex. I got it in 4 days with ground shipping. Not bad from MI to TX during wintertime!!
