The product itself is easy to work with. It has a nice thick consistency, without needing effort to make it workable. It doesn't have a strong smell, and what scent there is is neutral. It can be a little tricky to work through hair, as it tends to stick and settle in quickly. Overall it's pretty easy to work with, and is pretty forgiving if you use too much.

The results from the Matte Separation Wax are fantastic. I have very thick, unruly hair so finding something that can hold it is a challenge. This stuff provides great hold without making hair crunchy. It can leave hair feeling a little oily and a touch sticky, but not by much. The best thing about this wax is that it doesn't dry out or harden. It provides a strong, flexible hold but won't fall apart or break up if you run your hands through it, even after a full day of work. As well as it lasts, it is surprisingly easy to wash out with just a shampoo. It provides a texture great for the "messy" look. My biggest complaint would be the price, but it doesn't take much product to get results, so one container lasts a while.

Overall the TIGI Matte Separation Workable Wax is a really great product with a few minor drawbacks. If you're looking for something with strong, flexible hold that will last all day, you should definitely check this stuff out.

Great hold with the matte look. The little 2.65oz actually holds more product than I had anticipated. I thought I would have burned through this thing in a week or two, but it's last for more than 4 week with a bit left. I use a decent amount too. Salon sells this for $22.50/ea, I found it on here for $8. Talk about making a profit...

This product is awesome and you only need a little bit to get great hold. I was using Bumble and Bumble Sumotech, but have converted to this Bedhead product. You have to work Sumotech is your hands a lot longer to get the "sticky" feeling and necessary hold, and Sumotech doesn't seem to last as long as this product. The name could be shorter, product managers take note ;-)

Nothing but good stuff to say: a little goes a long way, almost no smell, not greasy, strong enough to last all day without making your hair overly stiff/hard, can be easily reworked with your fingers if needed, washes out easily, never flakes, etc. I've used this in both wet and dry hair but my preference is while it is still slightly damp after showering.

It can be hard to find this in stores but I always order from Amazon since their prices blow away those of my local retailers.

I've done through a lot of hair products over time.. I have frizzy, wavy hair but you would never know with this product. I sometimes let my hair grow to 4+ inches, and this product still has the strength to give me consistent, matte, messy look that gets me more compliments than I probably need. In stores it is rather expensive ($16+) but on amazon I save a significant amount and purchase a few to stock up.

I've tried a lot of hair waxes and this is by far the best. It spreads easy, smells nice, washes out easily, and holds all day.

It's hold is great and lasts all day. It leaves my hair pliable yet stable with a subtle shine that doesn't go away.

I have coarse hair cut short that used to do whatever the heck it pleased. Using gel made me look like a sleazeball and didn't really tame it. This stuff does the trick like a champ and doesn't leave my hair looking greasy. I also don't have to use a ton of it; each tub probably lasts me about 4 months.

As with all Bed Head products, this one is amazing. In fact, I will not use anything else. I do not need a lot of product, and it will last for entire day. It's easy to use, and has a pleasant smell. I would highly recommend this product.

I have very thick, straight hair and this is the only way that I can get my hair to shape up. Tigi lasts all day, and I'm happy to pay a premium. This stuff's reasonably priced and nothing else short of glue will do what this wax does-- no gels, no pomades, etc.. Last thought the odor of this stuff is tolerable.
