I love Timex watches and I bought this in a store (what a mistake, Amazon is so much less expensive). The watch is great looking and keeps good, reliable time. The problem is the band. I saw that it looked a little cheezy in the store but I bought it anyway. However, when I changed to a black, simulated lizard skin strap band, it looked 100 per cent better. My watch now looks extraordinarily expensive and very gentlemenly. With the new strap, I would wear it even with black tie. I recommend that Timex, at the very least, change the expansion band to a black, with gold trim band. I think that would make an otherwise somewhat nice looking watch look top of the line, as mine now does with the band change.

A reasonably priced, easy-to-read watch, with all 12 hours' listed dial, with gold-color case and stretch band. I've dropped it from arm-height, without it affecting its operation and display of the correct
time. I give it a top-rating. |
