For years I have been trying to get that Asian restaurant smell in my stir fry and knew I was missing something. Well, I found t!!!! A friend of mine told me about this product and he was on point. It's the missing ingredient that I've been searching for. I made Lo Mein and I was amazed how well it turned out and it was delicious!!! You only need to use a sprinkle so don't go overboard cause its very strong smelling. It is made of fish, lol!! Will definitely buy again.

Tiparos is THE fish sauce of choice amongst Thai people, as far as I've seen from restaurants and from a brief stay in Bangkok. My wife concurs, and she's been to Thailand more than I have, and, she's one who likes to cook Thai food. I like it. It stinks to high heaven and tastes great. This is the real stuff. I bought it from amazon.com so I didn't have to drive 30 miles to buy it at the only Asian grocery in this neck of the woods. Good stuff, and good way to buy it.

This is a real bargain--so much sauce at a low price. I love Tiparos Fish Sauce and use it in several different cuisines--Southern, Mexican, Asian. It's the best way to infuse a little salt into a recipe and add some depth with the mild anchovy flavor. It's especially good in rice--brown, long-grain white, and jasmine. Oftentimes it is just what I need to finish a dish I'm cooking.
I have one problem with this product, however. This bottle is very tall (10.5") and won't sit on my kitchen cabinet shelf.

Item preopened
I received this with broken seal. The bottle was already opened, I did not take a chance that it could have been tampered with so I threw it out, it would have cost more to send it... Read more
