First, I did not buy this gun from Amazon, I bought it from Sports Authority, but it is all of the same equipment.

This gun is great. I have had my Tippmann 98 for 2 years, and it still works like a charm. However, I added a 14 inch barrel, and that greatly included the accuracy and range.

Two great features about this gun is that it has a buttstock and front and rear sights to help you aim. Unlike most paintball guns where the balls feed directly from the top, the hopper is adjusted to the side so that you can see down the sights.

This package comes with a really good mask as well. I love the look and feel [although, I think mine looks a little different than the one in this picture]. It also comes with a 9 oz. tank, but I upgraded to a 12 oz, but that means I can't fit the buttstock on it, but I don't mind.

If you're an entry-level paintball player, or someone seasoned who wants a really good, and cheap gun, then this is for you.

I like this gun. It is pretty basic, but it has relatively few problems. If you keep it clean and use pain that is not brittle (old) you shouldn't have any trouble with it. Mine is totally stock and I have hit people at fairly long ranges. I would recommend that when you take it apart to clean it you polish the the areas when the bolt slides. Its easy to do with a Brillo pad and seems to make the gun work more smoothly.

This gun has got to be one of the best paintball markers out there! If you are looking for a long-lasting, reliable, upgradeable gun, this is yours. If you play woodsball, grab a flatline and dominate! I love this gun; I've never had a problem with it! Tippmann is the best paintball company ever!

This gun is a must buy. And all of the exras just make it even better. I have had this gun for a year now, and it has never broken, or had any problems. It is very accurate, even with its 8-inch barrel. Later, I bought a 14-inch barrel from Custom Products, and it is even more accurate. Unless you are a professional tournament player who needs an autococker, than you should just buy a $[...] gun. Even then I would recommend this gun. But this gun is perfect for someone who wants to play with friends, or go to a field that doesn't allow automatics, than this gun is perfect. The mask is very good. I still use it. Just wear a hat to keep it up.
