The one thing that I liked about these mitts is that your hand cups the padding on the inside and they are light. I think they are great for the money you spend.

Use these Mitts for Muai Thai and Boxing. They do the job while not breaking the bank. Pretty quick shipping as well. Very satisfied. I highly recommend these Mitts.

These are my first mitts outside of the ones lent by gym.
Although I still don't know if there is a left and a right one, I love them!
There is no Velcro to close like on others, which is impossible to do by yourself once you have one mitt on, and is also difficult for your partner if (s)he has gloves on, so not having that, and not needing it, is just a good time saver!

A few people in my class have tried them, and all loved it, the ball inside is just what tips it to the top!
Even people that bought their own mitts, seem to prefer mine, so overall I am very happy which I didn't expect for a mid-range price.
I have only been using them for a few weeks so I cannot yet say how long they will last, but I see no sign of it dying yet at least (unlike a guy that bought an Everlast pair and had to trash it after a couple weeks).

Update: I dropped them from 5 to 2.
The reason? The black "rope" on the side of each mitt that keeps the filling in has broken on both mitts. I've been using them for maybe a month, 1-2 times a week. So as much as I love them, the quality doesn't seem there.
I sent a request to Title and we'll see how it goes (but I'm afraid that they'll ask me to pay for shipping these back, and to pay for getting newer ones shipped, which if you include the original shipping price, would be close to the mitts price...)
Depending on how that goes I will update this review.

I just recently purchased 2 pairs of these mitts for professional use. I'm a kickboxing fitness trainer and have a need for them everyday, multiple hours per day, hence buying 2 pairs. Though I really like the padding, surface area, and curvature of the foam pads, I have a problem with the threading on the sides.
After only 2 days of work, the threading started to unravel. After another day I found myself having to pull the thread tighter myself. And 5 days of use the thread had come undone almost all the way to the bottom of the mitts. Maybe it's just a flaw in this particular one, as the partner in the pair hasn't done that yet, but it gives me a negative reaction to the product.
If this problem did not happen, I would have given the product 4-5 stars. As a result I found myself paying more attention to my mitts unraveling thread than the client, so I was inclined to give it 1-2 stars. As a compromise being that it may only be this ONE mitt, I give it 3 stars.

These are some of the best focus mitts I've ever used, comparable to many at twice the price!

They fit well, are solidly constructed, and are thick/sturdy enough to withstand full-force elbows and even knee strikes without any risk to the trainer. Of course they won't replace actual Thai pads or a dedicated kicking shield for really intense power work, but for a lighter workout they are simply excellent.

I have been using these for above 7 months and they have held up well. For the first two months of regular use (1-2x/wk), these were probably too stiff. They left my hands feeling pretty sore and arthritic for 24 hrs, so I would have rated them 2 or 3 stars. However after they broke in, they felt very good and comfortable. I barely feel the impact for very hard thrown punches. The hand slips are too tight for the RevGear gel hand wraps. But they will fit and stretch out for large wraps. Now I really enjoy them. Perhaps it would be good to share these with your hitting partner to half spread out some of the forces so they break in sooner. This is probably true for most pads.

Love the "tennis ball" grip, and mitt material. Punching surface is a bit rough, but no big deal. Overall, very happy with the purchase, and shipping time was unreal! Much earlier than expected.
