i got these shin guards for use on a 100# canvas heavy bag. these things are well worth every penny. the padding is great (1"), they are light, and they stay in place. i have not used them sparing but they work very well for kicking drills on a heavy bag.
the shin padding is great. my only criticism would be the padding over the instep or the to of you foot ankle. it is quite a bit thinner/softer than the shin padding but it has to be for flexibility. i would happily recommend these to any one who kicks a heavy bag.

I finally found something that fits me nicely~!!!,

I was literally getting sick of ordering different types of shin guards
because all my previous shin guards were either too bulky, or too tight for my legs.... But I finally found one that fits my legs very nicely and stays intact. the regular (medium) fits me (5'7") perfectly; it covers my shins and does not cover my knees (I find myself very hard and awkward to maneuver with shin guards that covers my knees for some reason) These shin guards are pretty short in height so, if you are looking for something that will give you more protection (if you are looking for something that covers you knees as well), I don't think these shin guards will be the best choice. But it works great for me =) p.s. another thing I liked about was that it provides both "Velcro" and "elastic slip on" features.

Great,

I am average size and got the regular size shin guards which fit great. They don't slide around when sparring because of the combination of elastic bands and velcro straps on the back and they provide great protection. They feel high quality and are much more comfortable than the old pair I used to spar with. Highly recommended, especially for the price!

These kickpads are Tough and great for sparring. I used to own Titles cloth kickpads, but I needed something of a upgrade that can give me a nice solid kick and last, like these. Overall the product is well made and hold on the feet good.

i am 5,9 155lbs. i bought the large. the instep does not cover all the way to my toes, and the guard is 2-3 inches below my knee. if you are using these for muay thai like i do, then u must realize that these are mma shin guards which means they are cut shorter. if you dont like the shin guards to come up to your knees then buy these. however if your like me and you want some knee protection then buy Muay Thai Shin guards. i opted for these because of the price and have bought a pair of cheap knee pads to help with the shortness.as far as toe protection goes,i have cut my toes but nothing crazy. However, it does make you more concious of how your throwing kicks... overall i am happy, but its nothing compared to sparring in a pair of twins shin guards.

TITLE's Classic MMA Shin/Instep Guard is a great product. Pricing is competitive with lesser quality products. I highly recommend these shin/instep guards. In my experience, these are the best!

These are excellent shin guards. The padding is great, an the straps, in combination with the slip on fabric allow you to tighten as needed to match the size of your calves. I am 5'9, and the Large size fits perfectly, just under the kneecap to cover everything up to my toes. Great product for the price.

I bought these thinking they were a bit HIGH priced, but as it turns out these are worth the money. They stay put on your legs very well. Protection is very good and over all they fit my legs very well.
