I was impressed with the product from when I first opened the box...they give you everything you will need, even a wrench, to install the platform. You will need to purchase the wood to make the brackets needed mount it.
Built with heavy gauge metal and great workmanship. You will love it. My only suggestion is that they should make the backboard a few inches bigger in diameter so that a longer bag will not strike against the support rods.

Precision Adjustable Speed Bag Platform,

Awesome since both my 5'7" wife and myself (6'5") use the same speed bag. It sure saves her from having to stand on a platform. Her old platform was made of blocks. The only complaint is with me tightening the bolts too tight. But the ease of raising and lowering is great.

Its solid but slow,

I bought this to use in my boxing classes at a health club and I can tell you that The rack is solid, but the four clamps that you have to tighten and loosen makes transitioning between clients very slow. I have people who need it set at its lowest and people who need it set very high. That makes the :30 rest period take more like a minute after I try to get this thing set up. I'm not sure what they use for the clamping devices, but they seem to have affected the movement of the deck up and down. Very clunky on the way down.
On the positive side; this puppy is solid once you get it set up! The worm drive makes a very effective and solid way of moving the deck quickly. (if it weren't for those darn screw down clamps. The frame is substantial and leaves very little to chance. Over all I like this and would buy it for my own use. It adjust-ability makes it a very forgiving jumping off point for people of all skill levels. I just wish there was a quicker way to go from short to tall and back to short.
