Product Description

We taunt our monkeys Brett & Julie for sticking with Blackberry, but we have to agree, the physical keyboard is pretty handy to have. Even though our iPhone enthusiasts are used to typing on glass with no tactile feedback, nothing beats having real old skool style buttons to mash your thumbs on. Now you can have the best of both worlds with the TK-421 iPhone case with flip-out keyboard. This case has a handy built in keyboard that rotates out when needed. Use it for e-mails, texting, apps. It's almost like your iPhone gained an extra super power! There are two models of the TK-421 case, one for the iPhone 3GS and the other for iPhone 4. Yes. We know that the iPhone 3G is the same form factor as the 3GS but unfortunately Apple decided that the 3G was just too slow to add BluetoothTM keyboard support into the OS... go figure.

Plastic is cheap cheap cheap.

As somebody else noted, the keyboard covers up the camera--unless you flip it out, which really isn't that hard to do.

I got this case and right out of the box it was awesome.

I ordered this product and I was sent a knock off version, the case is flimsy and has no connection magnets the box didn't even have tk-421 on it, very very disappointed.

I got this case and right out of the box it was awesome. The keys are large and tactile and easy to type on but in less then 24 hours it stopped working. it will pair for about 3 minutes and then i am unable to type or do anything else with it. i would recommend the nuu minikey over this anyday

Worst case ever.
Makes the phone bulky. Keyboard covers the camera. Plastic is cheap cheap cheap. They just took an existing generic bluetooth keyboard, and poorly designed an iPhone holder on it. It's hard to get to the on/off button and push it. The open and close procedure kinda scrapes the keys, and makes me feel like they will eventually wear off. I shipped it back the day after I got it.

This came in the box ready to break. Broke as I was putting my phone into it, I was able to re-assemble it but that didn't matter because it was not substantial enough to actually securely hold the phone. It is such a shame because the actual keyboard part is really nice, but it is attached to a really flimsy phone holder that makes me scared to actually use the product.

For the money i paid (around $15) this is a decent product.

Good things:

--The keys are sufficiently tactile. I am a person with a visual impairment and therefor don't look at the keys when I'm typing. The rubberized keys are tactile enough that I can tell them apart easily, and with a little practice my speed and accuracy with the product has increased a lot since I purchased it.
--The case covers up the Apple logo on the back of the phone. Firstly, I didn't buy my phone so that I could flaunt the fact that I own an Apple product. Second, since people suck, there has been a recent upswing of iPhone thefts since the iPhone 4 came out. maybe I'm not giving theives enough credit, but generally I think that if people don't see the Apple logo on your phone, they may not be able to tell it apart from a lot of the other touch-screen phones out now--and will be less inclined to try to rip me off.
--The keyboard easily paired with my phone and is easily reactivated by hitting any button when you want to use it.

Not so good things:

--It does make my phone much more bulky than it is without the case. However, I can forgive this because it also makes my phone look less like an iPhone--which is of course related to the theft issue I mentioned above.
--As somebody else noted, the keyboard covers up the camera--unless you flip it out, which really isn't that hard to do. Not sure it's a valid complaint. And for those of you who may wonder, yes, blind people can and do take pictures with their iPhones.
--The rubberized keys don't see to be the most durable. I've had the phone for about a month and my space key has a small rip in it from rubbing against the case's plastic surface when I slide it out.
