AWESOME! Inexpensive shin guards that have protected the shins during sparring multiple times. Protects from blows to shin so can stay focused on fight.

I was tired of the nasty bruises I'd get when using the painted foam velcro strap shin guards that kept slipping off. I needed cheap, hassle free, washable and reliable shin guards for sparring (American karate/boxing hybrid), so I gave these a whirl.
They're exactly what I needed. They are not as cumbersome as the velcro strap foam pads, but provide the same protection and fit much better. I'm 6'2" 175 with fairly skinny calves, and the large size fits me perfectly. I would add though that the ones I actually received have a small logo on them--"Tiger Gear" or "Tiger Guard" or something--so I'm not sure if it's the same product. |
