It will definitely improve your flexibility (or make torture victims talk),
This review is from: Pro Leg Stretcher (Misc.)
I can't look at the Tiger Claw Pro Leg Stretcher (or any leg stretcher for that matter) without the thought of a torture device popping into my head..but that's just me. Am I sick? Possibly.
I bought this stretcher because I have Cerebral Palsy and have very tight hip abductors. Normally only a physical therapist or other helpful person could give me the stretch I needed, and 2-3 times a week isn't nearly enough IMO, I need to do this every day. The stretcher arrived from Martial Art's Mart very quickly, but in a very shoddily packed box no reinforcement, almost no padding, and just the minimal amount of tape to barely keep the box closed. The box arrived sagging and open a bit. IMO any item of this weight and especially length needs to be in a box that is reinforcement and taped much more. Considering UPS delivered it I'm surprised it wasn't damaged. It was also very dirty upon opening the box. Either from lack of tape and dust getting in, or I suspect just from sitting in their warehouse sans box until I bought it. One of the plastic end caps for a reinforcement bar was also missing, but that's just a decorative and not a functional issue. Those things aside, which I feel only have to do with the seller, the Tiger Claw Pro Leg Stretcher is built very well. I have no doubt that it will give me decades of use. The only thing I feel I may have to do is lube the "corkscrew" mechanism and cranking wheel as needed, maybe once a year or so, but that's normal to keep it acting smoothly. The action of the leg splints opening and closing is very smooth, with no incremental stops and covers the full range of legs closed to full split to "popping a turkey leg out of the socket". The cranking wheel is removable (just pull it off) so it doesn't get in your way for doing hamstring stretches. The back is adjustable (just a hinged bar and "speed bump" stops, but more than sturdy) so you can sit fully upright or even lay down if you want. It's also relatively lightweight (about 35lbs I think I read and would guess) and can easily be wheeled and stored in a closet.

This is a good product.
I researched several products before buying this leg stretcher. Most of the leg stretchers were made cheaply and you had to put the unit together. This unit came in a very well made box packed very good and completely assembled. All you had to do was take it out of the box and start using it. It is made well and works great. I would suggest this product to anyone. I weigh 210 pounds and am 6'1" tall no problems with this unit. IT WORKS GREAT

Ideal design for leg stretcher,
By Though its solid construction is not lightweight, it is not too heavy for one person to move it from room to room comfortably. Using the stretcher frequently throughout the day just to "stay open" is a good idea. Combine that with lengthy sessions of "no pain, no gain" and your split will improve. Remember, stretching is a breathing exercise. The goal is to relax your muscles each time you push to get a little wider. Time and breathing are your friend. One last thing. The Tiger Claw "stalking tiger" logo on the seat back is really cool. Did I mention I designed it? Well, I did! Too bad that didn't get me a discount, but the regular price is very fair for a stretcher this good.

I train mma and wasn't sure how well this product would help with staying limber or help my kicks. I also wasn't sure which stretcher would be the best to buy. After reading reviews I got this one and it was a very good choice. I am very satisfied with it and now several of my friends want one after using mine. So I do recommend this to anyone wanting to buy a leg stretcher.

So far so good...,
This review is from: Pro Leg Stretcher (Misc.)
I got this in the mail a week ago and waited to open thinking I would have a bunch of pieces to put together. But to my pleasant surprise, it came fully assembled!! We took it out of the box, cranked the leg pieces forward and were ready to go.
I did much research on many different leg stretchers and decided this one was exactly what I wanted. Very sturdy and well built but light enough to move anywhere. I also like the smooth leg transitioning and the adjustable seat which reclines back. I find I like it best in the most upright position to work on my posture. I started looking for something that would help me as I'm losing my flexibility as I get older. I really enjoy doing stretching & would love to do more yoga, but find many positions too difficult for me with such low flexibility. This is most definitely going to help. I love it and this one is definitely worth the money.

Got the item faster then Amazon's earliest delivery estimate which really impressed me. Then I looked at the box and the item was really poorly packaged (from the manufacturer not the seller). The box was literally partially open and I thought I was going to be disappointed. To my surprise this machine was quite the opposite. This machine is very well built both in construction and design; it feels sturdy not flimsy. I think it could probably be used commercially with no problems. Oh and did I mention it was fully assembled out of the box? Yeah!!!
Operationally, the leg brace pads run almost the entire length of the machine for good support and different split variations. The back cushion also has varied positions and lays down completely horizontal. Lastly the wheel turns at infinite degrees making slight gains easier. All in all I dig it, two thumbs up for this one. Go get yourself one you won't be disappointed.

Some things I was concerned about when deciding which split machine to purchase were completley pacified when this arrived at my home. My main concern was the actual movement of the machine during those delicate moments of flexibility progression. The control wheel is fantastic. It turns smoothly, and at a rate of my choosing. When I release the wheel, there is no "backlash." In other words, the position of the leg mounts remain firmly in place when releasing the wheel-which free's up my hands to operate my MP3 player, or change the TV channel, read a book...whatever.
My 2nd largest concern was how comfortable the leg mounts would be. The leg mounts of this product surpassed my highest expectations. They are nicely padded (just as the seat, and seatback are), and suitable for any length of legs. If I had to choose something that could make this product any better, I would add some kind of directional arrow to the control wheel, marking the direction to turn in order to open / close the legs. As a student of Taekwondo and Kickboxing, I give this product a A+ rating. It WILL help achieve the full split.

Pro Leg Stretcher and Martial Arts Super Market,

Martial Arts Super Market was very prompt with their service and delivered an excellent product. I ordered the Pro Leg Stretcher from Amazon.com on Tuesday and it was delivered on Friday. It was fully assembled in the box. From delivery to stretching took less than five minutes.
The product is very well built. Very sturdy. Unlike some ratchet operated systems, the crank wheel operates smoothly and allows for very slight increases in stretching angles. Once in position, the crank wheel can be removed to facilitate leaning forward stretches. The seat allows for fully upright to fully reclined positions and is extremely easy to reposition.

I purchased this leg stretcher in mid October and am fully satisfied with it. The Pro Leg Stretcher is comfortable and easy to use. I have extended my splits by a long ways already in just 3 weeks. The shipping was quick, the packageing was good. I would recommend this to anyone. Pat.
