King of the Mountain match for the X-Division Title
Suicide vs. Consequences Creed vs. Jay Lethal vs. Chris Sabin vs. Alex Shelly
This, was actually to me, the match of the night. This was just crazy, and had some serious moments. Like a Savage elbow on the ladder from Lethal. But, overall, this was another one of those KOTM matches that everyone at least got one pin to become eligable. This was like most X-Division matches, highflying and nonstop action. This was in my opinion, this should have been on the Best of TNA 2009 dvd. 5/5

If Douglas Wins, He Gets Daniels Roster Spot
Daniels vs. Shane Douglas
Well, after like 2 or 3 weeks of rediculous yet predictive attacks from Douglas, Daniels finally got his payback and beat Douglas in one of his 2 or 3 return matches. Now, this really POed me that he didn't want to be at Hardcore Justice, but, other than that. This, was average, since Douglas has lost some of his Wrestling ability, he made this match a little slow, which dissapointed me. But, i almost enjoyed this match, very solid. 3/5

TNA Knockout's Title
Angelina Love vs. Tara
Well, the way that TNA was setting up this match, i thought this would actually be enjoyable, well, they completly buried this match. I would have rather watched Lita face Beaulah than this. After Tara came back, i thought she was better than ever. Well, not here. This was just a empty bag of crap. 1.75/5

Mixed Tag Team Monster's Ball Match
Abyss and Taylor Wilde vs. Raven and Daffney
Wow. This match completly had a impact to this ppv. Another really good match adding to this enjoyable ppv. I really liked this match, and finally, with the Return of Raven also, him rebirthing his rivalry with Abyss, made this match really good and fun. This had some really nice moments too. Like the biggest dive i've ever seen from a TNA Knockout, which was Wilde off the stage to Daffney through a table. Also, there was the "smashing" of Dr. Stevie's face(lol), and the two tack spots when Daffney and Raven were slammed into the tacks. This is the most hardcore i've ever seent he Knockout's before. 4/5

Sting vs. Matt Morgan
This was an ok match, was a little boring and slow at times. But it was a impressive win for Sting. The stipulation of the match was if Morgan beat Sting, he got his spot in the Main Event Mafia, well, that certainly wasn't going to freaking happen. Morgan at this point was being pushed, but they certainly weren't gonna' push him to be in the Main Even Mafia. But, this had its moments, like what Horror Spooky said, the brutal shot to the barricade. But, all this was, was just domination from Morgan, into a cheap/quick win for sting. 2.75/5

TNA World Tag Team Titles
Team 3D vs. Beer Money
Wow. Another great match to go with this great PPV. This was the best Tag match i had seen all year so far. These two great teams had a great rivalry going. And i was happy that TNA didn't bury it. This was also the match where the British Invasion was trying to make a name for their selves by interfering. Of course there was a table set up, and a great spot with The British Invasion getting put through the table(Im not sure who was put through though), and then Beer Money hitting the DWI to get the win and become 3 Time TNA World Tag Team Champs......well im pretty sure they did. 4/5

King of the Mountain match for the TNA World Title
Mick Foley vs. AJ Styles vs. Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Jarrett
Another great match. This was a good way to end the PPV. Especially with the surprise of Joe turning his back on AJ and joining the Mafia. But, you did see a huge attack before the match even started when Joe attacked Angle for Angle to get the first advantage. But, other than that. This had some great spots like the elbow drop from the top of the "penalty box", the nice guitar spot from Jarrett to Angle, and AJ's whole performance. This was a great and contreversial way to end Slammiversary. 4.5/5

Well, overall, this was just a phenominal PPV. Only about 3 matches were clunkers, so, i was very impressed and i totally recomend this.

King Of The Mountain Match: X Division Champion Suicide vs. Jay Lethal vs. Consequences Creed vs. Alex Shelley vs. Chris Sabin - Based off their showstealing Ultimate X match at Destination X along with the fact that the X Division KOTM match they did on Impact last year got more positive reviews than the heavyweight KOTM match on the PPV...TNA did the smart thing here in giving the X Division their own KOTM match on PPV. I thought this was without a doubt the match of the night as they once again stole the show by doing a bunch of new & innovative spots here that I can even begin to try to describe including the finish. One moment to definately watch out for was Lethal's ladder bump in the corner...OUCH! One hell of an opening match.

Daniels vs. Shane Douglas - This was one of the matches going of the theme of Slammiversary being "the stars of past" vs. "the stars of today" as the winner of this match will have a secure spot on the TNA roster. Unfortunally, this was the only flop of the night & a poor situation for Daniels as Shane Douglas was in the wrestling shape & gave the performance that he heavily blasted wrestlers like Ric Flair & Hulk Hogan for years ago...and he hurt his ankle on top of all of this. Daniels was able to work around what limited things Shane could do but this was really just a flop.

TNA Knockouts Champion Angelina Love vs. Tara - For those who don't already know, Tara is the former WWE diva Victoria and she gave a good performance here with Love that made you wonder why WWE never really pushed her for the past 5 years. Solid knockouts match & a refreshing change from the usual "stale" Awesome Kong performances that have been a staple of the championship division for months.

Monster's Ball Match: Abyss & Taylor Wilde vs. Raven & Daffney - Well second time is the charm for Wilde & Daffney here as this heavily erased the memory of the bad match they had the previous month at Sacrifice. This was the hardcore weaponsfest you would expect here between Raven & Abyss with the girls getting the spotlight on themselves at times like the bumps Daffney took into the tacks & on the outside where the hit her head on the steel steps falling off Abyss' back. This was the best performance from everyone involved in recent times as Abyss is at his best in these hardcore enviroments, Raven was in the best shape in almost 5 years, and the girls exceeded far beyond any expectations set for them.

Sting vs. Matt Morgan - Anyone can look in Sting's past feuds with guys like Cactus Jack & Vader and see that Sting has always worked best with larger guys and this was no expection here as we got the best performance from both men in a while as this was a big step up from Morgan's series with Abyss & Sting went past the usual "paint by number" performance here including even doing a missle dropkick at one point. Both men stepped it up in this this solid match.

TNA Tag Team Champions Team 3D vs. Beer Money Inc. - This is the third match in their PPV series & resembled more of their match at Destination X than Lockdown as they kept this one wrestling in the ring than the wild brawl they did at Lockdown. Both teams just have that chemistry together & vibed well here in a very good worked match with some standout moments like Brother Ray doing a flying crossbody block at one point alone with Robert Roode taking a very cringeworthy bump on his neck that you knew knocked him loopy for a little bit. If you can get past the involvement of the British Invasion (which you knew was coming based off the past few months), this was a great tag match.

King Of The Mountain Match: TNA Champion Mick Foley vs. Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. A.J. Styles - Before I get started, I have to make a note to pay attention to the outfit Mick Foley wore along with Kurt Angle's attempt at a new look along with what happened when he decided to wear a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey to the ring. This was without a doubt one of the most interesting KOTM matches of all time when it came to putting various stories together as there were mutiple ones being told here from the alliance of the TNA Originals with Joe & Styles, Foley trying to convince everyone...including himself...that he & Jarrett are on the same side while Jarrett didn't want Foley to walk out as champion, and the biggest story of the night being the interaction from Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe from the backstage interviews to even before the match began to the finish that nobody saw coming...but had plenty of hints along with the setup performed perfectly when you look back & see how it all came together. This wasn't as "spotty" & full of action like the X Division one earlier but this wasn't bad by any means & certainly a nice recovery from last year's disappointing KOTM match.

In the end, the only bad thing on here was Shane Douglas' performance as the TNA talent here really stepped it up & put on performances that were nothing below what would be expected for what is one of their biggest PPV's of the year. This is something I recommend to pick up.

This is the first TNA pay-per-view that I have ever watched, and I have to say that I was extremely impressed.

King of the Mountain X-Division Championship Match: Suicide (Champion) vs. Chris Sabin vs. Consequences Creed vs. Jay Lethal vs. Alex Shelley
This match blew me away. They took the old cruiserweight division style of WCW back in the day and threw in a sweet stipulation to make everything a lot more interesting. There were a lot of sweet spots, and Suicide took plenty of bumps with a steel chair, including a drop toe-hold that had his face smacking on the steel. Everything was fast-paced and crazy with a ton of luchador-like offense from all wrestlers and plenty of high-flying offense. The ladder was used in some sweet and unique ways. At one point, Chris Sabin had been knocked onto it as it was set up like a bridge between the apron and the barricade, and then Jay Lethal nailed a Flying Elbow Drop off one of the turnbuckles onto Sabin! Alex Shelly hit his finisher, called Sliced Bread, which is a sort of like an assisted running modified bulldog. He hit one on Consequences Creed right on the apron, and he tried to hit on Suicide on the outside of the ring, but Suicide countered. Eventually, Suicide won the extremely entertaining match. Winner: Suicide. Match Rating: 5/5

Spot on the TNA Roster Match: Daniels vs. Shane Douglas
This match was sort of boring throughout most of the proceedings, and probably shouldn't have followed the excellent opening match. There were hardly any cool spots at all, and most of the time it was boring grapples and submission. Daniels took a bad slam into the steel steps that probably banged up his arm considerably. The rest of the match was spent working on Daniels's arm, but finally Daniels started to hit some offense, including some sweet moonsaults, and the match ended that way, with Daniels hitting a moonsault to get the pin on Shane Douglas. Winner: Daniels. Match Rating: 3/5

TNA Women's Knockout Championship Match: Angelina Love (Champion) (with The Beautiful People) vs. Tara
Blah. This match seemed unnecessary. There was nothing memorable throughout the entire thing, except for Tara starting a slapfest between The Beautiful People after they threw her into the steel steps when Love was distracting the referee. This match was so unmemorable though that I can't even recall the ending. Still, it wasn't as piss poor as some matches are, it just wasn't anything new or all that exciting. Winner: Angelina Love. Match Rating: 2/5

Monster's Ball Mixed Tag Team Match: Abyss and Taylor Wilde vs. Daffney and Raven (with Dr. Stevie)
Now this is what I call a hardcore match! The WWE hasn't really done a great match like this in a while, so it's great that TNA has decided to pick up the slack. At the early going, there was some solid normal tag team action, but then the battle spilled to the outside (following a lot of use of trashcan and trashcan lid shots). Taylor Wilde knocked everyone down with an astonishing flying crossbody to the outside, right near the fan barricade, but then the action slowed down momentarily. Daffney jumped on Abyss's back when Raven tried to escape through the crowd and Wilde attacked her by hitting her with a conchairto using a steel cooking pan and a trashcan lid! Damn! Abyss pursued Raven to the back, but Raven got the advantage and started beating on Abyss with a section of the fan barricade. Wilde set Daffney up on a table in the back, and then climbed a set of boxes out there. She jumped off the boxes and knocked Daffney THROUGH THE TABLE WITH A SPLASH! Damn, Daffney takes a LOT of crap. When the match went back to the ring, there were a lot more weapons used, including some kendo sticks and a steel chair. The steel chair was used powerfully against the interfering Dr. Stevie when Abyss smashed it onto Dr. Stevie's head! Raven ate a Chokeslam, but Dr. Stevie interfered again by grabbing onto the referee. Abyss poured THUMBTACKS all over the mat and then prepared to Chokeslam Dr. Stevie onto the tacks, but Raven saved Dr. Stevie by hitting Abyss in the back with a steel chair! All of a sudden, TAYLOR WILDE KNOCKED DAFFNEY ONTO THE TACKS! I never thought I'd see a woman get thrown onto the thumbtacks! As horrible as it is to say, that was awesome! The end came though when Abyss hit the Black Hole Slam on Raven on top of the thumbtacks to get the win. Winners: Abyss and Taylor Wilde. Match Rating: 5/5

Matt Morgan vs. Sting
Another "okay" match. The match started off with Matt Morgan dominating Sting, something that should never EVER happen. A neat spot happened when Morgan swung Sting into the fan barricade pretty hard. The rest of the match was Sting getting dominated throughout the entirety, finally locking in the Scorpion Deathlock, only to have Morgan power out of it in a ridiculously easy fashion. The end came out of nowhere when Sting outsmarted Morgan and got the quick pinfall. Winner: Sting. Match Rating: 3/5

TNA World Tag Team Championship Match: Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) (Champions) vs. Beer Money, Inc. (James Storm and Robert Roode)
Now this is what I'm talking about! Not only have WWE been really light on the hardcore matches lately, but their tag team division gets almost no exposure. The match was very back-and-forth and very innovative throughout, with Devon and Ray doing some interesting tag team moves and the action never slowed down. At one point, Roode and Storm was about to double suplex Devon, but Ray countered it by pushing Devon back down as he was up in the air, a counter I haven't seen like, ever. The British Invasion then interfered later in the match, but this didn't mess anything up. Ray and Devon hit a modified version of 3D that used a neckbreaker instead of a "cutter", and set a table up on the outside of the ring. Ray took out most of British Invasion when he hit a flying crossbody to the outside of the ring! Devon knocked out another member of British Invasion when he punched him off the apron, sending him through the table! Unfortunately, the end came when Beer Money hit the DWI on Devon and got the pinfall. A phenomenally entertaining tag team match that was solid throughout the entire thing as well as masterfully done. Winners: Beer Money, Inc. Match Rating: 5/5

King of the Mountain TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match: Mick Foley (Champion) vs. AJ Styles vs. Jeff Jarrett vs. Kurt Angle vs. Samoa Joe
Another great match. The match started out with Joe being sent to the penalty box after viciously attacking Angle before the match even started. The entire thing was pretty solid, with some nice spots and great wrestling throughout the majority, as well as great psychology. Styles and Angle were the highlights of the night, with Styles and Angle going back and forth with counters and Styles countering the Angle Slam as well as rolling through an Ankle Lock. Styles hit the Styles Clash on Angle in an almost majestic fashion. Towards the end of the match, Jarrett smashed a guitar over Angle's head. AJ Styles started climbing the ladder, but Joe powerbombed him off the ladder. Joe then dove out of the ring and knocked down Jarrett and Foley. Joe started to climb the ladder, but Angle started to as well. Just when it looked like Joe was about to smash Angle's face with the title belt, he handed it over!!! Lame ending to an otherwise phenomenally entertaining match. Winner: Kurt Angle. Match Rating: 5/5

OVERALL EVENT
AWESOME! The first TNA pay-per-view that I see is very well done, with three must-see matches. The women's match was disappointing, and Sting/Morgan and Daniels/Douglas really couldn't match up with the other, much, MUCH better matches on the card.

The Best match on the card was the X Division King Of The Mountain because it delivered supreme athleticism and creativity.The TNA Tag Team Championship was just as good.The Mixed Monster's Ball Tag Team was pretty good for a weapons match.The King Of The Mountain match for the TNA World's title was not great but pretty good mainly beacuase of the swerve ending of the bout.The rest are ok.I give this event a 8 out of 10.

1)Suicide vs Alex Shelley vs Chris Sabin vs Jay Lethal vs Consequences Creed (King of the Mountaing) X Division Title 9/10
This match would have been perfect but it does slow down in a few spots but thats to be understood with the risks these guys took Jay Lethal takes some very hard bumps almost getting knocked out on one there are some creative uses for the ladder in this match but the ladders aren't relied heavily upon this is just the spotfest you would expect from an X Division Title match i feel the X Division is finally getting back on track in the right direction this was a great choice for an opener i hope they do this ever year
2)Daniels vs Shane Douglas

I knew from the start this would not be a stand out match and i was right Shane looked in no shape to wrestle especially on a big PPV but Daniels carried him in this match working with what he had making it at least watchable Shane had a sprained ankle which made the match slow down even more and the ending seemed forced after Daniels was grounded for most of the match watch it once then skip it next time
3)Angelina Love vs Tara (Knockouts Title Match)

I was excited for Tara to join TNA beef up the Knockouts Division a little because it was starting to get stale but even she couldnt save this match from being far less than mediocre Angelina is just not a championship quality wrestler she has a nice entrance but thats about it she had some Visa issues so TNA let her go not a huge loss in my opinion there was very little wrestling in the match anyway and it was relatively short thankfully so just skip this
4)Abyss and Taylor Wilde vs Raven and Daphne (Monsters Ball)
8/10
The addition of the women into this match neither helped no hurt it this was just an average monsters ball match with the tradition trash can shots and kendo sticks and a decent table spot by Taylor Wilde i respect the women for going through this type of match i guess i was just expecting more from the revenge angle and after the BFG monsters ball i was hoping for plenty of violence which is basically non existent decent but not great
5)Sting vs Matt Morgan

Sting works well with big man and here is no exception but i think Morgan is still trying to find his identity in the ring he dominates most of this match with Sting getting in a few blows every now and then the fight spills outside the ring and only proceeds back into the ring for about the final 5-7 minutes this wasnt a long match and it needed something else to make it memorable but still not bad Sting hits a creative Death drop for the win
6)Team 3-D vs Beer Money Inc. (Tag Team Titles)
9/10
These two teams have been putting on masterpiece matches over the last few months this one doesn't take long to pick up and doesn't let up from the start with great double team moves and the brawling you would expect from 3-D this one goes back and forth with plenty of near falls to keep you guessing the British Invasion has to interject themselves into the match towards the end which hurts it to some degree but nothing major to keep you from enjoying another tremendous match from these teams
7)Mick Foley vs Kurt Angle vs Jeff Jarret vs AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe (King of the Mountain) TNA World Title

This match is a step up from last years but just slightly i think they had the right mix of styles in this match from speed to power most of the guys carried their weight except for Foley who soon becomes an afterthought Joe gets dq'ed in the very beginning which wasn't a surprise the action goes back and forth with everyone becoming eligible by the end so its a free for all for the belt Jarrets only part in the match was to keep the belt from Foley. Styles and Joe's friendship comes into play but just barely as they fight throughout the match with the end coming suddenly the ending was somewhat of a surprise but not to a great degree but it did its job not the best KOTM but a great match to close out the event
