3.0 out of 5 stars NIV Zondervan NT CDs
Although the quality of the recording is top notch, the way the text is read is not the greatest. But I do listen to it all the time anyway.

5.0 out of 5 stars Mutivoice Audio Edtion is Great, August 19, 2009
This review is from: TNIV New Testament: Multi-Voice Edition (Today's New International Version) (Audio CD)
Though my favorite translation is not TNIV, this is my favorite audio edition of the bible and I've been listening to it a lot recently. The multi-voice edition is great because it feels like people from all different backgrounds are reading the scripture, which is a better reflection of the body of Christ. There are men and women readers and there are readers of different ethnicities/regional backgrounds. Typically you get one reader for each book. They have different readers for each chapter in Psalms, however, which is also nice.

I've tried other audio editions, but many of them sound too 'stuffy' because they have professionals who sound almost like Shakesperan actors reading them. The words of the bible were inspired by God to be written by a variety of people and people from a variety of backgruonds. If you think you would enjoy having a variety of voices in the audio edition you use, try this one. One tip - I find it helpful to follow along, silently reading a passage, as it is being read out loud from the audio bible.

This is a great way to "reread" the Bible. A must have for anyone remotely interested in absorbing the messages in the Bible.
