Product Description

Package Quantity: 1

The TOGGLER Toggle TB residential drywall anchor provides a firm hold in 3/8"- to 1/2"-thick drywall, includes #8 x 1-1/2" screws, and is made in USA. The anchor is made from polypropylene that resists corrosion, is nonconductive for anchoring electrical components, and is low-friction to facilitate screw installation. The anchor hammers into a 5/16" drilled hole until flush with the mounting material's surface. Before the screw can be inserted into the anchor to create a secure hold, the included key is used to open the anchor's wings behind the material. The fins on the anchor head grip the mounting material to prevent spinning when a screw is inserted, and the anchor will stay in place if the fastener is removed, facilitating fixture and screw changes. If using screws other than those supplied, the anchor accepts #6 to #14 size screws with a minimum thread length of 1-1/4". The Toggle TB anchor meets Federal Specification FF-B-588-D for Type IV anchors.

Anchors provide reinforcement to a fastener that would otherwise have insufficient hold in substrates such as concrete, brick, stone, drywall, or other materials for a particular application. The fastener may be included with or integrated into the anchor itself, or it may be sold separately. Anchors provide support through various methods, including expansion from within or behind the substrate or even adhesive compounds.

TOGGLER Anchor System manufactures wall anchors and toggle bolts. The company, founded in 1968, is headquartered in Norwalk, CT.

They are easy to install.

One thing I don't know is how they will be to take out later down the road, but that's not a big concern for me right now.

Much better than the old style anchors that we're all accustomed to.

I have tried the Zippit style, even the metal ones, the standard wall anchors, and even some of those really expensive Zooks wall fasteners, and the only thing which I've found will hang better than these are full on toggle bolts, but they leave a large hole. These leave a much smaller hole, they hold a serious amount of weight (I have 2 wooden wall mounted bookcases full of books hung on 8 of them with NO problem) and they are easy to use.

The only thing you should be aware of is that the tool to press them in sucks. It does work, and the ones provided (there are 2 in a bag) last for about 3/4 of the anchors. I used a small screwdriver to push them out after the tool broke, it was both easier, and didn't require replacing broken plastic tools.

We used these to support bathroom shelves and towel rack.

They are much better than either the often provided pop in kind or even the screw in kind of anchors.
Very easy to install.

these are so much better than the press in cheap type that come with most things you purchase that need to attach to drywall. i just toss those away and use these instead.

We used these anchors for a toilet paper holder and towel bar for our two bathrooms. They are easy to install. First drill a 5/16 hole, collapse the anchor so it's straight, push it in the hole til flush with the wall (I tap it in with a hammer gently), then push the pin supplied into the hole and push or tap with a hammer til you feel a pop and it's anchored. Attach the shelf or toilet paper holder or whatever with the supplied screws. Much stronger than the plastic anchors and much easier to install than metal toggle bolts. Highly recommended.

My 17 year old daughter installed coat hooks and a book shelf using these anchors. They were easy to use and they didn't punch through or shred the drywall like others do.

After several traditional anchors failed to keep a bracket on the wall, I tried the Toggler. This seems to have solved the problem. The directions were simple and I had two togglers and the bracket installed in minutes. They snugged tight and I can't see them failing under the stated load.
