Product Description

The TOGGLER SNAPTOGGLE BB toggle anchor provides a secure hold from within various hollow materials 3/8" to 3-5/8" thick including gypsum board, drywall, and concrete block, and is made in USA. The anchor requires a 1/4"-20 UNC-threaded metal bolt with a minimum length equal to the thickness of the item being fastened and the thickness of the mounting material plus 1/2". The anchor channel will not rotate when installing the bolt, whether installing by hand or with a screw gun, and will stay in place if the bolt is removed to facilitate fixture and screw changes. The SNAPTOGGLE anchor meets Federal Specification FF-B-588-D for Type V anchors.

The anchor consists of a corrosion-resistant zinc-plated steel anchor channel that inserts through a 1/2" drilled hole in walls, ceilings, or floors and installs against the back side of the mounting material; plastic straps attached to the channel that position it into place; and a plastic cap that slides down the straps and presses into the drilled hole firmly to lock the anchor channel in place behind the mounting material. Once the cap is set in place, the straps snap off by hand. The item being fastened affixes to the mounting material by inserting a bolt through the item, into the drilled hole, and through the anchoring channel behind the material and tightening.

Anchors provide reinforcement to a fastener that would otherwise have insufficient hold in substrates such as concrete, brick, stone, drywall, or other materials for a particular application. The fastener may be included with or integrated into the anchor itself, or it may be sold separately. Anchors provide support through various methods, including expansion from within or behind the substrate or even adhesive compounds.

TOGGLER Anchor System manufactures wall anchors and toggle bolts. The company, founded in 1968, is headquartered in Norwalk, CT.

I am a professional audio/visual installer, and i don't use anything else to hang televisions or projector screens on walls. I know the product will be secure once I use these in the 1/4-20 size. Don't let the plastic arms fool you, they don't do any holding besides guiding the anchor body into place. Once you screw the 1/4-20 bolt into it, the bolt and the toggle body do all the mechanical holding. I also use the largest fender washer I can to help distribute the pressure on the surface of drywall.

These items are great!!! Will never use a regualt toggle bolt again. I hung a floating sink in a commercial bathroom with steel brackets into cinderblock with these. I used 3 in each steel bracket and when done i could jump on them. They do need to be placed in correctly, ie. straight and tight. Then just place the correct screw from myour local hardware into the treads, instant wall haning ability. Because of their strenght, I would think when placing in drywall alone have to be careful not to over tighten as you may pull them straight through. I give these an A+ rating.

I live in an apartment with aluminum studs and 5/8" drywall, so when hanging an older, heavy flat panel TV, the studs weren't going to be strong enough. I usually use zinc anchor bolts, but since this TV was heavier and I was doing and articulating arm (that pulls out from the wall), I wanted something sturdier. I put in 8-10 of these toggler bolts (overkill, but would rather be safe than sorry!) and that TV isn't coming down unless I want it to. Highly recommend

whoever invented these should get some sort of medal. these are ingenious and do away with the need for mollys. Make sure you order bolts as they come separate..I find the best prices here on Amazon and as a pro I order multiple packs a year

They are the best toggles for metal studs. Drill a 1/2" hole insert toggle, slide the grip ring down to the sheetrock and done.

These anchors work great and I love the big box quantities. I can buy local but never have quantities I need and more expensive. Here I saved money and saved on the hassle of running them down.

If you hang just about anything up with just two of these, you're good to go. Unlike other anchors, you can easily remove items from the wall to repaint, and the anchor stays in place. It is always best to screw into a wall stud, but when you can't, or if you have steel studs, these things are the bomb. That's why I got a 50 pack for my house.

Love these toggle bolts. Have been using them for years to secure through drywall. Was so excited to get them in bulk.
