Product Description

The TOGGLER SnapSkru SPM Mini self-drilling drywall anchor installs into 3/8"- to 5/8"-thick drywall ceilings and walls without requiring a predrilled hole, includes #6 x 1-1/4" screws, and is made in USA. Its corrosion-resistant glass-filled nylon body installs into drywall with a Phillips driver, a hand drill, or a screw gun. The anchor's positive stop mechanism prevents the anchor from being driven too far into the drywall. Inserting an included screw activates the anchor's jaw, locking the anchor into place and compressing the drywall for a vibration- and shock-resistant hold. The jaws emit a noise when activated, providing audible confirmation that the anchor system has been installed successfully. If using screws other than those supplied, the anchor accepts #6 to #8 size sheet metal screws with a length equal to the thickness of the item being fastened plus 1".

Anchors provide reinforcement to a fastener that would otherwise have insufficient hold in substrates such as concrete, brick, stone, drywall, or other materials for a particular application. The fastener may be included with or integrated into the anchor itself, or it may be sold separately. Anchors provide support through various methods, including expansion from within or behind the substrate or even adhesive compounds.

TOGGLER Anchor System manufactures wall anchors and toggle bolts. The company, founded in 1968, is headquartered in Norwalk, CT.

These are great, only problem is now that my wife wants me to hang things in every room of the house.

Great to be able to use the impact driver to install the white plastic thing and then set the screw to the right depth. Beats having to carry a hammer around to smash in one of the old-school styles.

I never really hear the pop that these are supposed to make, but they are awesome.

When I moved into my new place, I needed to get some drywall anchors to support shelves that hold my antique camera collection, among other things. I wanted to make SURE they wouldn't fall.

After a long, hard look and reading a lot of information on a lot of packaging at one of the big box hardware stores, I chose a box of these.

They turned out to be THE easiest AND strongest drywall anchor system I have EVER used, and I can't see why I'd ever use anything else ever again. When I finally ran out of the original 50 I bought, I ordered more here on Amazon, and I'll do it again as needed in the future.

They really couldn't be simpler to use. Just mark a spot on the wall for the anchor, then using a phillips bit head on the end of a drill or electric screwdriver, push the plastic part into the mark to make a slight impression, then drill it in. It bores it's own hole through the drywall to start, then screws in securely with the fat threads on the plastic. Then, just screw the metal screw into the plastic anchor part, and the legs on the plastic in / behind the wall spread open and anchor it in place securely.

Two metal brackets with two of these holding each bracket will hold up a LOT of weight on a shelf!!

I can't think of a single way these could be improved, and the price is great, especially if you break it down per screw. I'm NEVER going back to drilling holes and placing spring-spread metal anchors with washers again.

I probably sound like someone who works for them, but I'm not. I'm just a regular Joe Handyman who occasionally needs a secure and strong anchor in one of my walls, and these things totally blew me away with how good they are, and how easy they are to work with.

These are the absolute best drywall anchors I've ever used. I used to use the drill and tap ones and they were "so so." These babies are AWESOME. I do pre-drill with like a 1/4" drill bit to make it easier to press into the wall, but the tip of the anchor is shrap enough to puncture the outside of the drywall. I trust and depend on these things for my wall-mounting obsession!

I could not ever think of putting any thing in drywall without the help of these anchors. I think they are worth there money and they are reusable, an added bonus. I find making a hole first works best. I hang the item with screws, then remove, put the anchors in the holes and finished.
