I thought about getting some TOMs for awhile, and even on the TOMs website they said their shoes are "true to size". But, I have a wide foot, I can wear most medium shoes, but have to be careful with shoes like this. So I ordered a size up. They are fine and a fun little "hang around" shoe, but a bit big. Since then, I got a beige pair in my true size and they really fit well. So, I feel confident now in ordering more TOMs at my regular size.

I love these shoes. They're super comfortable and perfect for around the house. I should have ordered the next half-size up but they don't hurt even if they are a little too small. I was disappointed that their site says that their shoes are "true to size" when they really don't seem to be, but I will definitely buy them again...1/2 size bigger next time.

In theory, this is a good idea. But, my daughter bought a pair of Tom's shoes and they lasted all of maybe 3 months. They developed holes in the upper canvas portion. Regardless of the charitable intent, these shoes do not last, and as such, I'm not sure they are a good option for people who will be using them daily as possibly their only pair of shoes. Are they comfortable? Yes. Are they attractive? Yes. Are they durable? NO!
