Learning English
It is perfect tool for learning English. It could be used for TOEFL prep as well. My kids found it very good and now I can't drag them away from a PC. Thanks.

I got this for my Spanish-speaking wife for her to learn English, and had based my purchase on previous Instant Immersion Spanish software for myself, of which I've had favorable experiences.However, this software, perhaps because it is PC-based, rather than Mac like my previous Instant Immersion software, was horrible -- very poorly organized, random, incoherent lessons with a terrible interface. The user is on their own for most of the lessons; they don't explain words in context (i.e., root word, verb, subject, etc.) I paid about $80 for this but would have been disappointed if it were $29.

I purchased this item for my wife because she had seen the "basic" version of this software at a local retail store a few months ago. At that time we weren't aware that there was a "Platinum" version available. I turns out that the "Platinum" version offers much more material than the "basic" version and for less money. We feel like we got a great deal and were very pleased with this purchase. Thanks Amazon!
