1.0 out of 5 stars II Spanish v3.0
Works for about two minutes and then finds an error and has to close. I do have vista but the box says it's compatible. I obviously don't agree and don't suggest anyone with Vista to buy it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst piece of crap ever, November 1, 2009

I can not believe this company is selling this mess.
1) No easy instructions or manual to ensure that the software and microphone works
2) It freezes up with Vista moments after inserting the CD in your drive
3) No easy way to fix it

I have Rosetta Stone, which is much easier to use, but i wanted something that would give me simple instructions on grammar usage. Sometimes, I just want to know the rules for grammatical sentence structure instead of going through trial and error on Rosetta Stone. But if this is the the kind of mess that the competition comes up with, I see why Rosetta Stone feels they can change $400 and get away with it. Why sell something like this when it needs software fixes and updates right off the bat? This thing p---ed me off so much. And many of the features requires the CD to be in the drive instead of saving it to your hard drive. This means that to access some phrases, I have to remove this CD and put in the phrase CD. Then if I want to go back to the lesson, i have to remove the phrase CD and re-insert the other one. That makes no sense. The only reason I gave it one star is that I can't give it negative stars.
