I figured I would jump in on this. I recently bought a T500 from Lenovo because they had some great deals going on. It is my first Lenovo, I had always had Dell Notebooks and Desktops before this but I must say I am thoroughly impressed. I got the T9400 processor with only 2gb of ram (cheaper to add additional 2gb myself), LED backlit monitor, dedicated (switchable) graphics and WiMAX. I must say it is the fastest notebook I have ever used. I was surprised to see how well it responded with only 2GB of ram and 256 mb graphics memory. It stays cool, feels durable, keys click great and has a host of features. My other dells did not feel as solid as this notebook by far. The screen doesn't move at all and seems to be constructed very durable unlike my dell whose screen constantly moves back and forth as I move.
The only difference between the one I bought and the one being sold here I believe is that I have dedicated ATI Graphics, the LED backlit screen, and Intel 5300 WiMAX network card. 5 out of 5 stars here! |
