I purchased the Toshiba Regza 57LX177 LCD TV in October of 2008 for $3500. I thought the TV was ok, been working fine till April 2010. When turned on the TV has horizontal lines on the side that fade when the TV warms up. I contacted Toshiba and they said that I was out of luck since the TV was out of warranty. I have a TV that is less than 1 yr 6months and now it has a problem that I cannot afford to fix after spending $3500. I would advice anyone, everyone to run from buying their products. I have noticed a lot of similar complaints and none have received any help or support from Toshiba. Best thing don't buy now, save yourself a headache.
