I can cram a lot into this good-looking lunch bag. My normal load includes a thermos cup, a small salad dressing container, a sandwich container, and a salad container. Because the material is flexible, it works well when you need a bit of extra room. It's also very nice you can throw it in the washer to clean it.

The shoulder strap is a must-have for me because I walk to work. I wanted to free up my hands to handle my umbrella and purse, so I really like the option of using the strap.

I wouldn't count on keeping things cold or warm for an extended period of time by using this bag. A couple of hours may be ok. It's not an issue for me because I put my food in the fridge at work when I get there.

I've had the bag for 4 months, and use it every day. It does get tossed around and crammed full with things, but it still looks great. None of the stitches have come off, and the zipper is still smooth like day 1.

I ordered this tote because of the reviews saying it holds a lot of things, and this one was bigger than other Built models. Because of its round shape and clamshell-like design, it fits way less than the dimensions listed in the description section. I bought this one to carry my big salad container, but well it doesn't fit. If you carry sandwich and lots of small containers, this one is for you. It's cute! But if you are like me looking to fit a rather large container, go find something else.

I purchased this bag after reading the many reviews on the website and on other sites as well. When I received the bag I was highly annoyed because I was shocked at how "small" it was. I assumed at first that the many reviews were written by people paid to review and was set on returning the bag...until I used the bag. This bag is EXCELLENT! I am trying to lose weight (and save money) so I needed a bag that would help me carry the right type of food that I needed, since I am in school all day. Although the bag looks relatively small it expands to fit everything. Today I packed: a 6 by 2 inch rectangular container with a quarter chicken and rice; a 4 inch bowl with yogurt and strawberries; a sandwich bag of cut apples; a sandwich bag of 10 saltine crackers an ice pack and a pint size fiji water bottle all in this bag. It zipped with no issue and kept my food cold until I needed it (I packed it at 9am and heated my food at 1pm). I get tons of compliments on the look of the bag and I the strap takes a load of my hands that are already filled with highlighters and HEAVY legal textbooks. I would most definitely recommend.

I just purchased this lunch tote - It looks like a purse and it goes over your shoulder to free up your hands. I love it because I work and then go to school at nights and it will hold 2 - 24oz bottle drinks and a sandwhich with a cool packet and you can machine wash it - overall it is an awesome tote

I bought this bag 2 months ago because it has both the handle and the shoulder strap, can keep food cold, and is super cute.
I've used it 5 days a week since I received it and just today the plastic piece connecting one side of the shoulder strap completely snapped off so I dropped my bag. This resulted in a broken container and a hole in the bottom of the bag. I'm really disappointed! I use glass containers to hold my food so I guess maybe it's too heavy (compared to plastic).

As to the other criteria on my list, the food generally stayed cool in the bag until lunch, though you can't say things were "cold". and I have gotten comments on how cute the bag is.

Basically this bag would have been a 4.5 if not for the broken strap and the resulting hole in the bag because now it'll only meet 2/4 of my criteria.

These lunch totes make great gifts for students or anyone who needs or wants to take lunch or snacks with them. My daughter can't afford to be buying lunch every day but constantly protested having to pack one. This bag was the solution. It's roomy enough for a lunch and snack and cute enough that she doesn't mind carrying it.

The only minor thing to keep in mind is that on really warm days you've only got maybe 3-4 hrs that for cold things to stay cold. Choose your foods accordingly and it will fine.

This is a super cute lunch tote, but as everyone else has mentioned is doesn't keep anything cold. It is in my opion, just like using a plastic grocery bag with an ice pack in it. If you are only using it for transportation to another fridge then this would work ok.

I love the look and feel. It is durrable. However, it is not the best functionally when it comes to lunch totes.

I can see myself using it for things other than lunch. Electronic cords/gagets, dry good snacks, make-up, etc.
