Good for chewers, November 29, 2010

I hate to give a well made toy only 3 stars, but I don't think that the person who made this knows parrots very well. The parrots that I've known aren't too keen on round wooden beads. They are hard to break, especially ones this size. Plus, cotton rope is dangerous for birds as they can get their toes caught in the cotton strands and it could cut off circulation in the toe. There just isn't a lot for a bird to do with this toy. Finally, there is a cotton perch in this toy, but look at the photo, how are they supposed to sit on it?
