This would be a great toy if it had the brakes that are advertised with it. Without brakes, it's too dangerous to let the kids coast at any speed, which is part of the fun! I don't recommend because, even though the brakes are pictured and a part of the description, I don't think it comes with them. The instructions never gave instructions for putting them on, and the parts weren't included. Item returned.

This toy is somewhat difficult in that the child cannot make quick turns or do any spins like similar products. I bought this for one grandson and a green machine (similar product) for the other grandson. After a week I ended up purchasing another of the similar product so both my grandsons would be happy. For the price I do not recommend.
