Product Description

The TP-LINK TL-WN321G Wireless USB Adapter gives you the flexibility to install the PC or notebook PC in the most convenient location available, without the cost of running network cables. Its auto-sensing capability allows high packet transfer up to 54Mbps for maximum throughput, or dynamic range shifting to lower speeds due to distance or operating limitations in an environment with a lot of electromagnetic interference. It can also interoperate with all the 11Mbps wireless (802.11b) products. Your wireless communications are protected by up to 128-bit encryption, so your data stays secure.

If you are looking for a 100% Linux supported WiFi card, and one that's low cost - buy this one. It worked with Ubuntu 9.10 and Backtrack 4 Final, out of the box, with no driver compiling and packet injection works 100%

Give this little( it's bigger that I thought it would be) beauty 5 stars from purchase to the door, I plugged it in my dell mini 9 running ubuntu 10.04 UNR and I was connected immediately right out of the box no drivers or configuration. It does get fairly warm but not enough that you can't touch it. After reading through the aircrack forums and the other review by "WiFi Guy" I figured this would be perfect for hacking. Packaging/shipping was good and it arrived pretty quick. The only thing I have not checked is the range compared to my phone or laptop internal wi-fi.

The TP-LINK was a cinch to install. You plug it in, put the cd in the tray, and install the software. After a reboot, you have wireless access to the internet. Easy as pie. I have a laptop with Windows 7 on it and the wireless card that came with the laptop died. So I looked for an external wireless adapter and found this one. I paid about $10 for it and it works great.
