For the money you couldn't ask for a better router, easy to set up, great security features and great price. Had it up and running in a matter of minutes. It is wall mountable, has 4 ports in back, compatible with my wireless G devices and arrived 1 day ahead of schedule. If you can read and follow the simple quick install guide, you should have no problems. Would recommend this router to anyone wanting to go wireless N on a budget.

Good product!I used netgear 300Mbps wireless router provided by comcast. The signal is not so good in one of my rooms(farthest one from the router, other rooms are good) and my roomate complained about it. That room is 3 walls away from the router. I bought this TP-Link router because it has external antenna. It provides much better signal. And at the same time, it is much cheaper than netgear. Con: It does not support third-party firmware(they provide many extra features like fine-grained QoS). It does not support IPv6, just like most other routers. Overall, I think this router is worth buying. You can't expect a "perfect" router for such a low price.

This is only the 2nd wireless router I've purchased. One reason I choose the TL-WR841ND was that it offered the new 802.11n+ and compatibility with older standards. The other reason was the price. I've only had the unit about a month now. So far so good. The setup was easy, it worked right out of the box with very little interaction. Then again I have a MAC so why wouldn't it be easy? The coverage is good. It sits in the lower floor room of a brick wall, split level home built in the 60's. The weakest signal I've received was on my back patio that is on the opposite side of the house and through 3 walls and a few screened windows. No issues with it working there - signal strength registered 2 bars on a PC laptop. Go ahead and give this one a try.

The place we are staying for a month in the warm didn't have wireless. As a two laptop couple, that just would not do. Bought this because it got some good reviews and was inexpensive.Took ten minutes to set up. It was great. Could have been faster if I had booted both devices at the same time. Plug everything in, boot the modem and the router, go through the simple set up CD, it is done. Tray CD only though, it is a little guy. Will not work with a slot load. And fast and has great range. Connected by the pool this afternoon.

I have had, belkin, Linksys, dlink etc over the years, all the so-called big names and this TP link blows them all out the water, Trouble free and inexpensive to boot. Maybe the big guys should take a look at themselves for they're overpriced junk. Have a good day.

TP-Link was recommended by my computer tech. He had recommended Linksys (now Cisco) in the past and still does. I had a Linksys wired router and a Linksys wireless G router in my past. The wireless G router started to reset itself every day...sometimes twice a day and the firmware WAS up to date. I finally got tired of resetting it and went for the TP-Link.What an awesome router! Easy to set up and it works very well. I have a T-Mobile Blackberry that connects via wifi hotspot (as reception in my area of town is quite bad) and I can tell the web connection is MUCH FASTER with the TP-Link router. Shipping was quicker than expected. I always use free shipping as the arrival time is, as mentioned, quicker than expected and I save the bucks! Nothing negative to say...all positive! Thanks!

HUGE Speed Boost,

I've had a pretty standard WRT54G for a long time, running normal firmware, Tomato, DD-WRT, etc., and I finally got fed up that despite having 40 MBps through the door, I was only getting ~15 MBPs on my wireless devices. As I mentioned above, I'm very familiar with custom firmware and involved setups (Port Triggering, Forwarding, MAC Filtering, etc) and so I expected to jump right to the Admin Console. I gave their silly little mini-CD a shot and it was set up in (literally) 30 seconds. Sure, I could've done it, but I was impressed that a setup CD actually worked once. I went into Admin Console anyway to make sure things were setup correctly, and added some Trigerring for Xbox Live, but it was a breeze. My last speed tests with the WRT (down speeds only): 13.57 12.81 13.01 11.67 13.77 13.71 After plugging this thing in: 34.66 34.70 28.15 27.65 More than doubled. I'll take it. Solid 5 stars.

Easy to set up and great strength and speed. This router was easy to set up and great to use no problems after several months. Having a switch included makes for easy use can plug right into the unit if you do not want wireless. Great

I didn't have a router since my laptop was near the cable connection; however, I had a lot of problems logging into my company's network and someone said a router might fix the problem. I really didn't know anything about routers and I didn't want to spend a lot of money. I searched on-line and read all the customer reveiws before deciding on the TP-Link 300 Mbps Wireless N Router and I am thrilled with it! It fixed the problem I had logging in to my company's network and I am able to use my laptop anywhere in my house. The set up took less than 10 minutes (including security set up). I love it ... good value for the money! I have used it almost every day and it continues to function well.

Purchased this router from Amazon a few days ago for $33.00 & free shipping. Currently have Linksys WRT54G (I like the original Linksys design with external antennas; I tried several years ago to use the newer sleeker design with the internal antenna, and was very disappointed with the wireless range, so I returned & went back to original)to be replaced with this N draft router. I have been using Linksys products for well over 12 years and have been an advocate long before they were purchased by Cisco. I am also a 25 year computer & networking professional and work with Cisco enterprise & emerging technologies on a daily basis. I configured this router at work in <3 minutes using WPA2/AES/PSK - 63 random character pass key. I then tested coverage using my laptop with integrated wireless G radio to facilitate a walking "survey". I left the stand alone AP configured in my 2nd floor Datacenter and walked outward on entire second floor, then downstairs to first floor offices and out into my warehouse to find extraordinary coverage perimeters with regard to distance range and through multiple wall barriers. I was able to achieve coverage out about 350 feet/through multiple walls and floors. I am confident now that my home experience will be seamless, and only now need to upgrade my Linux laptops with wireless N draft USB network adaptors to leverage N draft. I will also be streaming internet content to my new Sony Smart TV, which was the real reason to upgrade to N draft in the first place, as wiring cat cable would be a pain in the backend. Additionally I looked at the Linksys routers and by comparison, this router had better reviews & price point. I will say Linksys limited lifetime warranty is a plus in that direction, as the TP-Link only provisions 2 year. But I'm giving this lower tier product a chance and will update this review when applicable. Stay tuned...
