The TRENDnet TV-H510 Outdoor Camera Enclosure with Heater and Fan protects TRENDnet Internet security cameras from extreme temperatures and severe weather with a built in automated heater and fan and an IP66 weather rating. The TRENDnet TV-H510 Outdoor Camera Enclosure with Heater and Fan for use with compatible TRENDnet Internet security cameras. Mount the enclosure on most surfaces with the included mounting kit. The enclosure’s final fixed position can be adjusted 360 degrees left-to-right, 40 degrees below horizontal and 15 degree above horizontal. A rugged aluminum visor minimizes reflective solar glare, a hinged swivel-top provides full access to the inside of the enclosure, an access latch-design capable of accepting a padlock (sold separately) protects against camera theft and an easy-install camera mount system reduces IP camera installation time.

Very sturdy case with strong hardware. Since it has a fan and a heater I thought it had a vent on the back for the fan to cool off the case so the camera doesn't over heat during the summer. This is not the case. There is no vent and the fan only turns on when the heater turns on. Another issue is that the mount should be solid so that noone can cut the wires. The mount is solid but the swivel attachment is not and has a large gap in which someone could easily get some wire cutters through. The case is way too long. I don't believe there is a single Trendnet camera that needs that much space. I bought a 94 LED IR illuminator that I mounted above this case and it works very well for night vision. Night vision is typically black and white but with IR at 850nm you get color.
