The TRENDnet punch down tool is the best value for the price you can buy. The description is somewhat inadequate. The tool actually comes with two standard twist-lock bits. Each bit has a punch down and cut tool on one end and a punch down only tool on the other end. The unused bit stores in a hole at the top of the handle.

It comes with two reversible tips. It has a tension setting. These are nice attributes. The tips aren't exactly the right size and the tool doesn't consistently cut off the excess wire when punching down but it works well enough.

simple tool, does the job. does not come with 66 blade for telecommunication blocks.

I gifted my son with this Punch Down Tool & he loves it! He has a different one he is required to use at work & says this Trendnet TC-PCT 110W is far superior to the work tool and is the finest he's ever seen for this purpose! He couldn't say enough good about it & that is unusually high praise from him as he's very particular about having quality tools.

This kit is have been very useful for me, doing my work more easy. Good tool, I like it, I recommend it.

Great tool, makes punching down cables easy even for someone who have never done cabling. I wired the whole house with no problems, makes for a clean and nice connection.

Can't go wrong for the price of this one at $20. I know for a fact that 5 years ago even knock off units of this quality ran in the $75 price range.

My son uses these when working on network cable. I have begun tinkering with cat5 cables at church and decided that I needed one. It works a whole lot better than the little plastic jobbies that come from Home Depot. In addition you can set the tension and it automatically cuts the wire when you punch it down. It came with an extra cutting/punchdown blade.

I'd never used a punchdown tool before, but found this to be very easy to use and priced right.

+ I used this punch down tool in around 60 sockets (all 110 type) and it was very useful and I loved it.

The only thing that I kind of don't like is the tension adjustor, if I leave it on mid it will go to low by itself if I don't pay extra attention not to touch it while I am using the tool. This only happen on mid, but if I set it to high or low it will stay there (maybe it was not meant to be left in the middle).

I would recommend this tool to anyone who is setting up network either at home or professional.

I did not use the Krone blade to comment on it, but the tool itself looks and feels sturdy and looks very durable.
