This item worked great, but there should be a list of compatible devices or routers along on the description.

The adapter worked great--it allowed me to connect the antenna I ordered for my Linksys system to it easily. It did its job. Plus it was delivered in two days.

The adapter fits, but the actual screwing portion has a tendency to pop off if it is tightened snugly. And I mean snugly, not too tightly. I have a linksys router that has rather long threads on the socket. I solved this by actually using pliers to pinch in the top so that the inner piece wouldn't keep popping out. If you use it you'll see what I mean. But it works and the price was right.

I bought this to adapt between a WRT54G-TM and a SMA connected Cantenna. Worked great!

This is el-cheapo junk ... it broke when I screwed it on the anteanna finger-tight. Did not even consider paying to ship this piece of junk back because shipping cost more than the product. Save yourself some time. money, and frustration by paying more for a quality product from a more reputable source. You get what you pay for in this instance, and if you buy this you will get garbage.

I needed this to connect a hawking sugnal booster to a linksys router and it connected the two. the two didnt work together mind you, but the adapter fit both perfectly

One end is a male Male RP-TNC the other is a Female RP-SMA. Works with the trendnet SMA to N cables.

Bought six of these adapters for my 3 Linksys routers. Two of them popped apart with very little finger pressure while screwing them onto the router. The edge of the main barrel is crimped over the SMA end, and the edge of the crimp just came away, kinda peeled off. The other 4 adaptors are still in one piece.
I bought two Alfa RP-TNC to RP-SMA Adapter - SMA Female To TNC Male Converter - For Network Adaptors and Router Antennas to try out a different product at similar price to replace the two broken Trendnet ones. The Alfa ones are much better designed and much, much better quality. I would definitely buy the Alfa ones again.
