I HAVE 6 OF THESE PUPPIES AND ALL WORK OK.FOR THE MONEY YOU CAN'T BEAT THEM FOR SURVEILLANCE AROUND THE GROUNDS. CLEAR PICTURE AND SOUND USUALLY WORKS OK SET UP IS EASY AND I HAVE NEVER HAD TO CONTACT TREND TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR HELP.

I read all of the reviews for this product before buying and decided to take a chance. I was very disappointed with the setup software of this camera.The users manual for IPView Pro 2.0 could not be any more unhelpful. If you want to know what the "Video Frequency" option does here is what the manual says, "Video Frequency: This option allows you to set the video frequency". No duh. It does not tell you what "Video Frequency" does or means. What is the difference between choosing one setting or another? I will say that the picture at 640 x 480 is acceptable. Getting the camera setup as a wireless device on my network was a breeze. I needed this camera for motion detection and uploading the pictures to my FTP server on my LAN. The setup software in this respect is awful!! If you get this camera make sure you want to monitor an area continuously. It is not good at motion detection nor uploading the snapshots it takes to a server. I really got frustrated when I attempted to enter a "work" schedule time period to activate motion detection. I've spent 4 hours tinkering with all of the possible settings for this camera, nothing I can do will allow me to configure this camera for a particular schedule. The only way I can get motion detection to work is to turn it on "Always" with no kind of schedule loaded. I'm sending this camera back where it came from.

this prodct is a must have...I am able to connect this at my condo and watch while i am at work without having a technician install it, i highly reccommend this product.
