I paid more for these than they now sell for and 7 months later I would still do the same. These levers just fit and feel comfortable all while looking cool. They are much more comfortable than the sram and shimano brifters I had been used to...no more numb hands. And the push button brake slack button is great if you ever go off road--you can clear mud and small twigs from the track all while never stopping or getting off your bike--just push the button (round silver thing in the standard picture) to allow for greater brake clearance then press the lever to re-engage.

I don't write reviews often but these are fantastic !

I switched from very old brake levers with an old drop bar to these and a new drop bar (the old one broke after a crash).

Pros:
- the rubber is very comfortable
- the lever is deported towards the exterior and makes it very easy to grab and brake
- it's also easy to grab the brakes from the top
- the style is wicked !
- the button to release the brakes and make it easy to change the wheels is a genius idea.

Cons:
- I don't really have any but you should also understand that I had 30+ years old levers before these and replaced the whole braking system (levers, cables and pads but kept the calipers). So it feels like day and night :)

Like the other reviewers say, they look great and are ultra-comfortable, especially if you've medium to smallish hands. The outward bend on the levers make them much easier to reach, and the hoods are just grippy enough without feeling gross. I'd seen pictures online with varying colors for the hoods and was worried I'd end up with a yellowy drafting eraser color - was relieved to see that the color is closer to 'latte' or 'dark camel', pretty close to the seller's pic. I don't use the release feature except to compulsively fiddle with it at stop lights like a click pen... most modern brakes have slack releases for tire/wheel changes already? :/

You can find these for around $70. keep looking if unable. Might have trouble justifying the $120 but for 60-70 these are AMAZING!

You will keep these forever and transfer to whatever your favorite singlespeed bike is at the time.

The quick release feature is surprisingly way cooler than I thought it would be. Thought "oh big deal, whatev."

The ergo is untouchable by any other lever.

I recently redid my old steel frame road bike and wanted to keep a nice retro look while maintaining the comforts of a newer bike. The levers have a modern shape with the bottom of the lever flaring out to the side making them easier to reach in the drops. The hoods aren't super wide but they feel good and braking from up top is comfortable with plenty of leverage, something you won't get in an older lever. Quick release on the lever itself is also a nice feature and I've been told this is in case you bend your rim on your ride and need extra play in the cable for the ride home. Apparently this is an old campy feature. The hood rubber tends to get a little dirty but that happens with all light colored hoods. Overall, these are amazing and well worth the price. I would not recommend for cyclocross since the holes in the lever will certainly be a pain to clean once they get muddy.
