I broke a fiberglass rod putting it together, Since it was a green stick break vertically, I could tap the rod together. It stood up on the beach for a day. I didn't expect much and tossed it when I got home. Cheap price... cheap product... my bad.

It will work for a child to get out of the sun while at the beach, but that is about all. Also when I took it out of the box it looked mildued, but I realized it may be the darker color leaked onto the lighter color.

I bought this so I could take my toddler to the beach. We don't live near the beach, so I didn't want to spend a lot. This tent is large, but provides NO SHADE. The sun shines right through and it gets pretty hot if you're sitting in the tent. Also, the instructions were written in another country because they didn't make any sense, and were on a small scrap piece of paper. It says online that it's UV protected, but I highly doubt it since it didn't say it anywhere in the packaging. It's a little cumbersome to put together at the beach too. Don't waste your money, pay a little more and get a good one.
