I broke a fiberglass rod putting it together, Since it was a green stick break vertically, I could tap the rod together. It stood up on the beach for a day. I didn't expect much and tossed it when I got home. Cheap price... cheap product... my bad.

It will work for a child to get out of the sun while at the beach, but that is about all. Also when I took it out of the box it looked mildued, but I realized it may be the darker color leaked onto the lighter color.

I bought this so I could take my toddler to the beach. We don't live near the beach, so I didn't want to spend a lot. This tent is large, but provides NO SHADE. The sun shines right through and it gets pretty hot if you're sitting in the tent. Also, the instructions were written in another country because they didn't make any sense, and were on a small scrap piece of paper. It says online that it's UV protected, but I highly doubt it since it didn't say it anywhere in the packaging. It's a little cumbersome to put together at the beach too. Don't waste your money, pay a little more and get a good one.

I used this at the beach and it worked great. I kept my coolers in it to help keep the sun's rays from heating it up too quickly.

OK so I bought this to take with us to the beach and the river, since I have 2 small kids and want to keep them shaded. It is a nice small, compact design. It will seat 2 adults comfortably or an adult and some small kids. So we havent yet taken it to the beach and Im curious how it will hold up in the wind. It does comes with spikes to secure it. Im sure at the river there wont be any issue. I did how ever set it up in the living room and my kids had such a great time making it into a club house. So if thats all it ends up being good for, then it was well worth it.
