Man...you have got to buy this site!,

So after destroying 4 of the 5 fiber optic pins on my previous bow site (while tramping throught the brush) the first evening of opening day... I was in a hurry to get a replacement, and get is sighted in before my next scheduled hunt. I started researching with the POPULAR/BIG NAMES in sites, and just couldn't find what I was looking for? I must confess that price was a major consideration, since I hadn't planned on this purchase. Also, due to the design of my ALPINE ARCHERY bow, I require a sight with ample lateral (left/right) adjustment of the entire pin stack. After not finding a POPULAR/BIG NAME product that met these requirements, I then began opening my search to any brand of bow site and stumbled upon the TRU GLO. Tru Glo is not a small company, by no means, but their bow sites don't seem to be high on the popularity radar screen currently...and now, I cann't figure out why?This site is PERFECT, and a real value for the quality of this product! The mount is an alloy, and VERY strong! there is ample up/down & left/right room for adjustment, and the brightness of the pins, using natural light (even in conditions of heavy cover) is the brightest that I have ever experienced! I was concerned that the level may be too small to see clearly, but after shooting with it, the level is very visible and there is no need for it to be any larger. The ONLY negative feature "may" be with using the battery light? Believe it or not, it actually seems almost too bright? But on the flip side, I don't think that I will be needing this option, since the fiber optic light gathering ability of this product is so exceptional. Oh, and as a last minute bit of advise, if you find yourself in the thick brush, take a bandanna and wrap it around the fiber optic housing of your site, or maybe even remove it since these plastic pins are so much more fragile than the old, metal ones are- good hunting! I strongly recommed this product!

I own 5 pin and 3 pin models of this sight. I'm convinced that it is a strong, well engineered product. I only need the accessory light when hunting from my Bull blind, there isn't enough light to illuminate the pins in it. Even my 58 year old eyes have no problem seeing the natural lighted pins even in the early and late minutes of the hunting day. Even a large peep sight opening will end the day before the sight pins. If you can't see your intended target, you can't ethically let an arrow fly! After all if you can't see through your peep sight, it's time call it a day.
