Product Description

Ready for a new kind of world building game? Get ready for Gravity Words. The game includes four different modes: Classic, Word Completion, Word Match, and Multiplayer. Act fast, and tap the letters as they fall to build words, complete challenges, and dominate your friends. The game modes include:

- Classic: Standard point race. Complete as many three to seven letter words as you can in three minutes, and unlock all of the achievements.
- Word Match Mode: Try to build the chosen words as fast as you can before time runs out.
- Word Completion Mode: Starting small, you must complete words with various letters pre-chosen, until you must spell five, six, and seven letter words all while the difficulty keeps climbing.
- Multiplayer: Two players go head to head in a combat style word building match. Each player has five different power ups to use against their opponent, all re-usable. These power ups include: Slow Gravity, Fast Gravity, Destruction, Half Word Score, and Blackout. The first player to reach 800 points wins.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fast paced fun with words that is challenging! August 5, 2012
Verified Purchase
The game is like scrabble except the tiles are continually falling down the screen and disappearing off of the bottom. Think fast or you may lose the letter you need. The game is fast paced and challenging to play. The falling tiles and the time limit put a sense of "hurry up playing" in you because you want to do well. I enjoy playing the game but it does take total thought and concentration. It can be frustrating if you have started a word and are waiting for one letter that always seems to not fall down the screen when you need it.

The game is fast paced and fun if you like word games. It has a unique style of game play and that makes it fun. Your mind will be racing to complete the words and beat your previous high score or your opponent. This game deserves 5 stars.

Here are the menu selections:

* Classic Mode - Build as many words as possible before time runs out
* Challenge Mode - Try to build the chosen words as fast as you can before time runs out
* Multiplayer - Go head to head
o Use powerups against your opponent
o Slow gravity
o Fast gravity
o Destruction
o Half word score
o Blackout
* High Scores - Keeps track of you playing performance
* Achievements - Shows which of 21 achievements you have accomplished during game play
* Settings
o Sound On
o Music On
* TS Games Store - Added recently to take you to the Amazon store so you can buy the developer's games
* Help - Explains so special rules for playing the game
* Exit

You can post your score to Facebook via the share button at the end of each game. You can also post your achievements to Facebook at any time.

I love word games and this one has a new twist so it will keep my interest for a little while. waiting for the needed pieces is very frustrating so eventually I will quit. my 8 & 9 yr old like it so kudos for getting a word game past them!! I like having the achievements giving me a goal besides the high score.

good game but wish there were levels like easy to really hard that would make it more fun a lot of people say that it is addicting but it really isn't I am deleting it right now but a good concept and fun to play for the first 4 times or so but challenge mode was creative

5.0 out of 5 stars I like. August 5, 2012

Grow up, people. Quim? Never heard of it, but seriously boo hoo...get over it. I hate people who are pathetically too serious.

This is a great game. I despise most word games, as they are stupid & terribly made. This one is great, though. I do get furious when waiting forever on a letter, but there's a reason for that. It's a game afterall. Both modes are good. I especially like the one where you're given a letter & made to create a word from it. I'll be keeping this one. Thanks, dev!

4.0 out of 5 stars Not your usual word game! August 5, 2012

I thought this was gonna be like most other games but I was wrong. Very good and challenging. It can be hard to get the letters in time but that is all part of the game. I only wish there was a way I could delete a letter to choose the correct one instead of having to discatd the whole word.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good game with strange words August 6, 2012

A good game that keeps your mind and reflexes sharp. I didn't think I would like it at first but it grew on me.

In match mode most of the words are not really words. They are either three or more letters thrown together or abbreviations. You are also at the mercy of when the letters drop so if they don't drop soon enough you lose at the last minute no matter how hard you try. If you can get past those things you will like it.

I tried some of the odd three letter words in classic mode and it did accept them. I think I like that mode the best.
The hard level gets pretty intense as there are more letters on the screen and they move pretty fast. Almost sent me into a trance. I'm not, but if you are prone to seizures you might take that into consideration. I'm no doctor, just a thought. It helps that all the vowels are red and the consonants are either orange 6 points, blue 3 points or green 1 point.

There are a lot of achievements to strive for and doing that makes it more interesting.

Playing on Kindle Fire.
