My familiarity with class material is such that I rarely need to reference my lecture notes. Hence, when running a class I roam about the room. The ability to control my class-support slide deck from anywhere in the room is necessary. A remote Powerpoint slide changer is essential. The TS105 is an OK presentation aid. It covers the basics: advance slide; back a slide; highlight with the laser pointer. One annoyance I encounter every class session is that the pointer looses its connection with the receiver. Classus interruptus results. This sporadically happens when I am more than 8 feet from the receiver. Stepping closer to the receiver restores the connection (and the devices functionality). This is slightly annoying. More annoying is that the product description indicates the pointer is shipped with batteries. My pointer arrived in a beautiful box that features a spot for the pointer; a spot for the receiver; and an empty spot where two AAA batteries fit nicely.

I have abandoned using this slide changer. In less I've missed something, I have not found an on & off switch. Battery life is abysmal. I also found this device to have a very restricted range, approximately six to seven feet. Very problematic in a teaching situation. Slide changing buttons offer crisp responsivity and is comfortable in the hand.

The laser pointer is easy to set up. Windows 7 recognized it without a problem. However, it could not last for an one hour presentation. Thanks for Amazon's wonderful service, I got full refund after sending it back. I bought a Logitech R400 as a replacement. It works much better. If you have more budget, I will recommend Logitech R800 green laser presentor which is super nice.

I am surprised that something like this with a single function is #1 so large in size and #2 unreliable. I use a laptop for sales presentations. I have to lean across the computer often to reach the buttons, so this would have been a great convenience if it had worked. After about 6 slides into the presentation, it would take me back to the beginning. I tried over several days because, when it worked, it was great. But I eventually gave up and sent it back. Perhaps it's a compatability issue with my laptop, but it doesn't seem like next screen/previous screen should be a challenge in this environment of very high function electronic gizmos.

Works as stated, sadly promised batteries included which were not. Hard to
contact seller electronically.

This pointer works well. As it is now hard to buy pointers at local office stores
this was a good buy. I'd buy another one.
