It is good product. Holds my GPS stably. The following issues stopped me from giving 5 starts
1) Difficult to connect USB cable to base as GPS touches all the way down to base.
2) Sometime when GPS is removed, the entire clip comes off.

I purchased this mount for my Jeep Wrangler JK and TomTom Go and was skeptical that it would keep the TomTom in place atop my dashboard. After completing a 6000 mile cross-country trip, I can safely report that the TomTom never once slid out of place despite the rough highways and dirt trails. This one is a keeper.

Good product, good value for money, and match the web description. I would have given this product a 5 star rating, if only the stand was a bit higher from the base, to 100% accommodates Tom Tom Go versions, particularly Go 930.

It holds my GPS unit on the dash without sliding around. I purchased it to be able to move my device between vehicles, which it makes easy to do. The mount does not slide, allows for easy view of the device and does not require anything be affixed to the windshield, leaving marks etcetera.

The mount is good, Compact does not take too much space on dashboard. My Tomtom GO 720 does not fit properly on that. The height of mount is not enough. So I have give 2 stars. All in all it does its job.

I place it somewhere, it stays. I hadno issues with plugging in the cable to loed the accu and then placing the Tomtom on this Mount.
I do not have to glue anything to my windshield and can remove the mount out of sight.
I can only recommend it!

What else can I say? It works perfectly. And the fact that it's got a built-in clip for my TomTom means that I'm through fighting with the suction cup working its way loose. I've done hard highway acceleration, rough roads, icy roads, etc since I got this and it hasn't moved so much as a millimeter on my dash. Another reviewer said the entire clip sometimes comes off when removing it, but I've found that this is naturally prevented if you grab the TomTom with your thumb on the bottom and the top of your hand curling over it to push down on the clip, rather than bracing against the base. Works like a charm for me.

A note - mine came with a wet-wipe to wipe off the dash before I put it up there... I recommend you use it, particularly if you have animals that ride in the car with you at all. If yours doesn't come with one, I'd recommend getting one. You don't want dust and pet hair sticking to the bottom of this and "lubricating" the non-slip surface.

Stays in place. Works as expected. Make sure you clean the dashboard before using it; it won't work too well if you have a bunch of Armor All or dust on the dash.

I have a great spot for a dash mount in my 2007 Honda Civic, but most beanbag mounts are large and the bottom is not so flexible. This mount has a very small footprint, about 5" diameter, and has a somewhat flexible bottom with a great "grippy" or "tacky" surface. Also, most beanbag mounts need to use the windshield mount that comes with the Go 730. This particular mount came with its own pedestal which is nicely adjustable. I can tilt the Go 730 enough to avoid the direct sunlight. So far, no problems, even with left hand turns. Of course, I think any beanbag mounts will fall under bad circumstances. I did not want to have to apply any velcro sticky stuff to my dash or have any type mount that would show there may be a GPS in my car. This mount completely serve that purpose. I just stow it in the trunk when I leave the car. Also, the pedestal portion that comes packed with the mount detaches quickly and completely from the GPS. This is nice. I can take the GPS with me and stow in my pocketbook or pocket without the bulk of the pedestal to deal with (The TomTom included pedestal folded down but was a bulky piece). I highly recommend this mount.

I got this because the orignal holder for the winshield wouldnt hold anymore after a good year of constant use and switching from car to car.. THIS HOLDER IS PERFECT! so much better then the windsheild mount. highly recommend it!!
