Fantastic Workout!, July 7, 2007

I bought this DVD a month ago and I LOVE it. This is the fastest way to help lose weight I have ever tried. The workout starts with a short warm-up, then into a moderate cardio, and boom! A high-intensity turbo. Studies have shown that switching from high-intensity to a lower intensity throughout the workout gets much faster results. Well this is proof! I would have paid twice as much for this DVD and still thought of it as a bargain. The other DVD's she has are great too, but this one is my favorite because it gives FAST results! I lost 20 pounds last month from diet and this workout. Worth every penny!

Nothing but the Turbos in this one!, December 11, 2006

If you think Turbo Jam is a watered down girly version of Billy Blanks, guess again! I have a master's degree in martial arts but I wanted a cardio workout that didn't remind me of the violence that martial arts has. Chalene Johnson, the developer of Turbo Jam, doesn't claim to be a martial artist. She incorporates a bit of booty and ab work with the punches and kicks in such a way that the focus is all from the core and that's where all the power comes from. This is the wonderful secret to the workouts! It's a blast. Turbo Jam is a full high intensity workout that helps melt pounds and inches off your body. I have almost all the Turbo Jam workouts and they are great! I've been doing it and in six weeks I lost pounds and inches and was able to get into my size 4 wedding dress from 10 years ago! I've continued to do the workouts and am now a consistent size zero! Turbo Jam is so fun, and Chalene's energy is so wonderful and positive, that I didn't even realize my workout time was up! When you buy a fitness DVD you are also buying the inspiration that comes from the trainer. No one does this better than Chalene! Turbos are the highest intensity part of the workout routine. In this high intensity DVD, Fat Blaster, it is nothing but the Turbos! Wave after wave of Turbos which build intensity as the workout continues, until the last turbo which is a little less intense than the middle turbos. The DVD is about 30 minutes which a very quick warm up and cool down. All the action is in the middle. Because the Turbo Jam moves grove to your own fitness level, you can crank them up or bring them down according to your own level and coordination. I give it a five star with the reservation that I wish it were longer!

Best workout video ever!, August 29, 2007

I love love love this video!!! I have only been using it for 4 days but it is fantastic! This video is something I can stick with because of Chalene's high energy and upbeat personality, she gets me smiling and enjoying the workout every time. I feel like after the workout I have sweat more than any other workout and I have more energy during the day. It has everything you want in a great a workout, I think my favorite is the cool down where I am forced to stretch (something sometimes overlooked when working out on your own) causing little pain in my muscles afterwards. Be warned though, this workout is hard and it will push you. It also takes a few times to learn the routine, but stick with it and turbo jam to a healthier you! :)
