I am not able to get the free Kindle Fire edition that was promised with the print subscription.I have talked with customer no service at Amazon several times and they cannot resolve the issue. It seems very few people there know their business.

I love this magazine. It always tells me what new shows will be airing along with what actors that will have starring roles. It also tells you about recurring shows and exciting new episodes. I also love the crossword puzzles.

The TV Guide subscription looked like a good deal. When the first copy arrived, I learned that there was no edition for my time zone. (They have none for either Mountain or Pacific time.) This made the book virtually worthless, since I coldn't tell for sure when various shows were on...especially on the non-network channels.

No idea it was a TV Celebrity magazine, and only 1/3rd a TV Guide. And that 1./3 didn't have 24 hour show scheduling.. And didn't include a guide to Channel numbers for the Networks and Cable shows.

So I cancelled it after one issue. And BTW, where's my Refund??

I selected this option to extend my current subscription which was expiring. But instead of adding to my existing one, they started a new one which is overlapping by 4 weeks, so now I am getting duplicates and losing 4 editions on the back end.

I have not received the kindle edition. So, as far as I'm concerned, the purchase has not happened and I was ripped off.

I didn't realize that my Kindle (the 8 1/2 x 11 size) does not have the proper software to take the download of the TV Guide. And that leaves me with a magazine I'll never read and software I had to delete because it wasn't useable (for the Kindle). However, on the plus side: Amazon's customer service group worked right along with me to try to track down why we were getting a negative on a product that was supposed to be downloadable on Kindle products. For that reason (and that reason alone), I didn't request a refund for the guide itself. Thank your people for saving a sale of a product I really can't use -- because my HDTV comes from the antenna in the attic, not a cable or satellite company, and only one of the 30 odd "local" stations are listed.

I miss the old format of tv guide. You know, the short, thick weekly one.
That one used to have the local channels listed.
This one doesn't. Sad. But so true
Sometimes (come to think of it more than sometimes) they send an issue that covers two weeks at a time.
Well, that makes the info not as current as it could be.
Also, not as thorough as the old style for program synopsis.
So, okay I guess.
But I plan to let my current subscription expire as now we can get most of the info online.
Also, I now own a Tivo, which is great for up-to-date info.

Although, if you like stories about stars and some behind-the-scenes stuff, not bad.
But that's not my thing.
As Joe Friday in Dragnet said "Just the facts...."

I wish that the guide would cover the AM & Pm programs as well as after 10:00pm. In other words the whole day

It was my mistake, but I've been unable to correct it so far! For the past year, we have been receiving the TV Guide on an auto-renewal plan, so when the email arrived, offering a good rate on the publication, I thought I was adding the additional year to my present subscription. Imagine my dismay when I discovered I had accepted a second subscription, which apparently is going to run concurrent with my present subscription. I emailed immediately to cancel the order, but Amazon was unable to comply with the request. I'm still trying to connect with TV Guide directly, to request an extension on the original or a cancellation for the new. No easy task!
