Works as advertised
I have had an Insignia 42" LCD TV for about a year and noticed that most of the time the picture was just "not right". The dark scenes appeared to have a blurry look to them and when things were real dark it looked like there were shadows floating in the picture. Not very helpful
This disk was not easy to use. Some of the pattern was covered up by the TV menu that had to be open to adjust the colors. The color adjustment program that came with the t.v. worked better than this disk. Don't waste your money

After running this software the picture has been greatly enhanced. Standard definition is great and High definition is outstanding. What a difference this has made.
It is recommended that you calibrate every 6 months or so and it only takes about 1/2 hour to complete.

I purchased this for a new Panasonic TC-P50S2 50-Inch 1080p Plasma HDTV.
The disc worked well but the HDTV was right on the money! I didn't have to adjust anything. When setting up the TV for the 1st time there was a Store setting and a Home setting. Obviously I used the home setting, and the TV picture is excellent. I'm wondering if calibration is still necessary on the newer models? |
