I love this! Don't have to worry about all the foul language coming out of my TV.

Overall, the TV Guardian works very well. There are a few shortcomings, however.
1. This model only works with standard definition TV. There's an HD model available from [...]. 2. It usually doesn't work with DVDs, because DVDs usually use subtitles instead of closed captioning, and the TV Guardian can't interpret subtitles. 3. Sometimes the closed-caption signal is garbled in transmission, and TV Guardian will allow profanity to slip through. This is a problem with closed captioning, though, not with TV Guardian. Despite these limitations, I've had a very good experience with TV Guardian, and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to filter out bad language. There are newer models available from [...]. |
