I bought this watch a few months ago after seeing it in GQ. I liked the black on black appearance. Indeed, I have received several comments from people who found it attractive.

However, whatever substance they used to make the hands visible at night simply does not work. I have held it under a bright flashlite (Surefire), and the hands are visible for a few minutes, but it quickly fades. Tritium would be much better. Indeed, the black on black design even makes it tough to see the hands in broad daylight! Timex needs to fix this. I can't recommend it, for that reason alone.

Still, I'm going to keep it. If you see some guy looking at his watch from all angles, that would be me, with the TX 600 Series Pilot Flyback Chronograph!

I got this for my boyfriend a couple years ago, and he liked it a lot in general and got several compliments for it. However, like in other reviews, the "luminous" substance that it supposed to make it visible in the dark does not work at all, and it's hard enough to see in the light. It is also pretty large and bulky.

I had this watch for a year, wore it several times but ended up selling it. I think it is unique, but there are some things about it that irked me. First, no, you can't tell the time easily and at night, its impossible. The lume (glow) is absolutely terrible on this watch and at this price point and with this design, that is a criminal error. Second, there is a blue AR coating on the watch face (you can see this in the pics that amazon uses). It makes a supposedly all black stealth watch have a blue hue to it, which I didnt find appealing. It is also very large and the strap is relatively cheap and it squeaks when you wear it. On the positive side, it is unique and in the daytime it is a fun watch that may draw some compliments. Unfortunately for me, I figured I could get an automatic watch with more prestige that I can see easily and still have a black design, rather than a battery operated watch with the flaws I mentioned. I really wanted to keep the watch, but I couldnt overcome the issues I had with it. I felt like getting a black Seiko, and pocketing the significant $ difference would still be a viable option. I decided to buy an independent brand with an automatic movement that is a limited edition piece, all for less money. Additionally, I got an all black Casio G-shock for like $70 that essentially looks the same and has the same "panache", so - there you go.

Really great design. I'm definitely keeping this watch. Really enjoy the aesthetic and its unique from most other watches!

I bought this a few months ago. I get compliments everywhere I go. Everyone asks what kind of watch it is. You can wear it dressed up or dressed down. I highly recommend it.
