This Barbaro Beenie Baby is just adorable and downright cuddly. Proceeds go to the BARBARO FUND at UPENN NEW BOLTON CENTER. It is wonderful for young and old alike. Many FOBs (Friends of Barbaro), who post online on the TIM WOOLLEY RACING site have found great comfort in their "Baby" since our beloved Barbaro's passing.

The Ty Beanie was produced with the plan that proceeds would benefit the University of Pennsylvania's New Bolton Center, where Barbaro received the medical care after his devastating injuries in the 2006 Preakness Stakes.

The Beanie is outstanding quality and carries the hologram of the Kentucky Derby due to the silks on the doll matching the ones used in the 2006 race, which Barbaro won in a stunning display of dominance rarely seen at that level of racing.

Roy and Gretchen Jackson have only licensed a few Barbaro items for sale - which was done when the champion was still hospitalized - with the caveat that proceeds from the sales be earmarked for the New Bolton Center.

The Ty Beanie is a quality product that will assist a facility dedicated to helping animals large & small. No matter how I read that "racing" form, it comes out a winner.

I received my package in very good condition and what a surprise! Not only is it a Beanie Baby its also a souvenier from the Kentucky Derby and to top it off an offical hologram from the Derby is imprinted on the little red heart. Im pleased to know that proceeds from the sale go to the veterinary hospital where Barbaro was cared for.

I was pleasantly surprised at the excellant quality of this item. The cost was very reasonable and it is a geniune Beanie Baby with Barbaro's actually date of birth. Plus it is a good purchase as part of the proceeds go to help many animals.

Rather then give your money to someone who is simply out to make a buck off the death of a beautiful animal, you can buy this same beanie for a lot less at the Kentucky Derby store where the proceeds go to the Barbaro Foundation. I had a feeling the vultures would be out already. How sad.

This is one of the most adorable Beanie Babies I've ever seen. It is a wonderful tribute to a wonderful horse who has beaten all of the odds. A great collectible for adults and children alike. Also works great as a teaching tool for children who may not have been old enough to realize what happened when Barbaro had that tragic day at Pimlico Racetrack. Share the story and teach them a lesson about how to beat the odds and become an American hero

Great product. My daughter is a huge horse fan and just adored Barbaro. This beanie baby is almost the perfect likeness of it's namesake. I love that it gives statistics on the tag. I recommend this for any horse lover! Very durable product.
Also, great that some of the proceeds go to the Barbaro fund!!!!!
