I loved this album from the first listen. It's one of those albums that you listen from start to finish with not one bad track to speak of. Production is perfect blend of what I would call polished lo-fi giving the album a very creepy icey sound that brings out the many slow,epic,doomy parts. Anyone into Black Metal should be listening to this!

This,along with the releases this year from Funeral Mist,Deathspell Omega and Behexen,ranks among the better black metal albums.Taake has matured and has this eerie,viking vibe to them now more than ever.Very evocative black metal, well arranged and the riffs are amazing!If you're a fan of the bands I mentioned,you'll really like this.DIO FOREVER!!!!!!
