Good general introduction into the use of the table saw. The attention to set up detail was particularly useful to help set the saw up to insure good work later. Many useful tips and jigs are well described in the text

This is a basic introduction to a table saw. Mr. Cliffe does a good job covering set-up, safety, saw blades (including dado heads), maintenance, and the basic cuts.
I had hoped for a bit more ideas for jigs and other projects. There are instructions and patterns for a featherboard, a push stick, a picture frame jig, and a shooting table for crosscutting larger pieces. Altogether, a good value and a good starter book. |
